How to fly in WWII. Guide to flying in WoW Legion

We have prepared a guide about how to learn to fly in WOW Legion: where to learn to fly on the Broken Isles, what achievements you need to complete, how much it will cost.

In 7.0.3 and 7.1, flying in the Legion is not available - you will be able to fly in patch 7.2.

You can view detailed information about what you need to do to obtain the Pathfinder of the Broken Isles, Part 1 achievement using a special tool on wowhead.com.

1. Broken Isles

This achievement requires you to explore several locations on the Broken Isles: Azsuna, Highmountain, Suramar, Stormheim and Val'sharah. Researching the Eye of Azshara is not necessary to obtain the achievement.

2. Variety is the spice of life.

4. Loremaster Legion

This achievement is also account-specific, but just like in the case of the Broken Isles, there are certain restrictions. In each location, the storyline must be completed by the same character - i.e. It won’t be possible to have the first character complete, say, 2 quest lines in one location, and the second character complete all the others.

What conditions must be met to fly in the Legion:

  • Make the first part of the Pathfinder of the Broken Isles.
  • Repel Legion invasions in each zone (Defender of the Broken Isles, available after April 4).
  • Explore the entire Broken Shore - location of patch 7.2 (Explore the Broken Shore)
  • Achieve Revered reputation with the Legionfall Army faction (Commander of the Legionfall Army).

Defender of the Broken Isles

You need to repel Legion invasions in several locations. You need to be level 110 to complete the 3 stages of Legion Invasions. At the end there will be a 3-person scenario in which you will need to destroy the Legion ship.

Legion Incursions can happen in any zone of the Broken Isles (for example, in Valsharah: Assault on Val'sharah). During an invasion, the location is filled with demons, and local quests in this zone are replaced with others related to demons.

After completing 6 local quests, you will be sent to a special zone of the location, where you will need to kill special demons. Then you destroy a special device and the final scenario starts (different for each location).

Example of the invasion of Azsuna:

Explore the Broken Shore

A simple achievement, you just need to unlock all areas of the Broken Shore location (added in 7.2). On the territory of the Broken Shore you can find disks floating in the air that will help you get to hard-to-reach places.

Commander of the Legion's Bane

You can find out all the ways to level up your reputation with the Armies of Legion's Ruin from our guide. Mainly:

  • Completing the introductory quests for the Broken Shore
  • Quest to obtain a new champion for the class hall
  • World quests (regular quests - 75 reputation, Tomb of Sargeras raid - 500 reputation)
  • Renting resources for the construction of buildings on the Broken Shore
  • Completing quests for the Infiltrating the Tomb achievement

To unlock the Legion's Bane Quartermaster, your character must be level 110 and complete the Assault on Broken Shore scenario in patch 7.2.

One of the effects of the Mage Tower building can help boost your reputation - Worthy of Respect.

Class mounts

In patch 7.2, the Legion's Ruin Army faction will appear, leveling up its reputation will open access to new class mounts and skins (relevant for some classes, for example, shadow priests and arcane mages).

While playing WOW, your game character gets the opportunity to acquire several useful skills, some of which are horse riding and flying. The second skill cannot be obtained without mastering the first, so you should start with horse riding.

Horse riding lessons

Horseback riding is acquired so that the character can control mounts. This allows you to quickly move across the expanses of Azeroth. You cannot improve this passive skill, but you can improve it - from any trainer for money. The higher the level of this skill, the faster the player’s mounts will be transferred from one end of the game world to the other.

To learn horse riding and to acquire your first mount, you need to get up to level 20, while having 4 gold in stock. You can buy a riding animal at the sawmill, which is located in the Elvin Forest, or go shopping in some Big City. Horse riding in the game is divided into the following levels: Apprentice, then Journeyman, then Skilled and finally Master of Horseback Riding.

When the student completes the training course, the mount's speed will increase by 60%. If you want to take a course at the “grade” of the Apprentice, you need to pay 50 gold coins and be sure to reach level 40. Once you complete the courses, the mount will increase your speed by 100%. After you reach this level, you will be able to control not only those mounts that move on the ground, but also those that fly. If you want to become a Craftsman, level up your character to level 60 and pay 250 gold coins for the courses. Upon completion of the course, you will be able to purchase a flying mount whose movement speed is 150% faster than normal. You will take these courses in Outland. And after you reach level 70 and can pay 5 thousand gold coins, you will become a Riding Master after completing the course in Northrend. Upon completion of this course, your mount speed will increase by 280%.

How to learn to fly

You can fully enjoy the beauty and splendor of the lands of Pandaria only under one condition: if you soar up and can look at the game world from the height of a bird's flight. Of course, to do this you need to have the flying skill and, as already mentioned, master the horse riding skill at the Artisan level. In addition, flying will be available to your character starting at level 90, but you definitely need to master this wonderful skill.

If you have met all these requirements, you should find an appropriate flight instructor. It depends on which faction your character belongs to. If to the Alliance, the trainer will be Clodrunner Leng; if to the Horde, Skydance Shan will become your instructor. After this, you will need to purchase a special course called “Wisdom of the Four Winds” for 2500 gold coins. You should know that if your hero is on a hill when purchasing the course, he should go down, since the course may not be counted for him on the mountain. Enjoy flying and the beauty of Pandaria!

Today we will look at an important issue regarding the WOW game - how to fly in Draenor. When the Warlords of Draenor expansion was released, the possibility of flight on the new continent was shrouded in secrecy, which caused much controversy. Players asked the developers to implement this ability. Blizzard, in turn, believed that such an approach was inappropriate and would have a negative impact on the story. However, the decision was made in favor of the players. A special add-on adds the ability to fly, but in order to use it, you must earn an achievement called “Draenor Pioneer.” This is not easy to do.

Basic information

If you are interested in the question “How to learn to fly in Draenor?”, you should know that this add-on is strikingly different from others. Users have at their disposal only one single means that can rise to the sky on the specified continent.

So, in order to learn to fly in Draenor, you need the “Soaring Terror of the Skies” - the reward for the achievement described above. These features are available in update 6.2.x. There is no need to earn an achievement for each character separately; it will be available for all heroes who have crossed level 90.

Conditions

To solve the question of how to fly in Draenor, you need a “Pathfinder”. Therefore, we will now talk about this achievement in more detail. It requires 5 achievements. The last 3 depend on the faction. So, we have to become a “Master Treasure Hunter”. Next comes the achievement “Loremaster of Draenor.” Next we get the distinctions “On Guard” and “Tanaan Diplomat”.

Skills

To solve the question “How to fly in Draenor?”, it is necessary to consider in detail the achievements and methods of obtaining them. The Draenor research distinction isn't too complex. It can be earned through character development or by exploring new zones. To get this achievement, you need to explore all the territories of each section of Draenor, as well as receive the corresponding rewards.

Next, let's look at the "Spikes of Arak" achievement. To get it, visit each of the empty spots on the map. Absolutely all characters can work on this. In this case we are talking about a general type of achievement. Only zones are taken into account, without individual areas. Now let's discuss how to achieve Master Treasure Hunter status. The world of Draenor offers approximately two hundred different chests, caches, purses and forgotten weapons. These objects are scattered throughout the territory of all zones. This achievement is created specifically for those players who love collecting and searching for treasures. Taking into account the total number of hidden objects, you can find 100 without much difficulty. Treasures of the Tanaan Jungle are not taken into account when completing this quest. Special cards can make the task significantly easier. They mark the treasures of each zone of Draenor. A map of a specific area can be sold by Grakis or Shrikka, based on the player's faction. However, to purchase it, you must complete the chain of quests in this territory and receive the corresponding achievement. For example, you can buy a Nagrand treasure map from a Vendor.

The most important tasks

To solve the question "How to fly in Draenor?" we also have to become the “Keeper of Wisdom.” We have to complete each stage of the plot development in all the zones mentioned in the task. It will be very useful if this was done during the period of developing the character to level one hundred and completing missions. In this case, most of the necessary stages will already be completed. Only complete achievements in the zone will be counted. They will not be taken into account if the story stages are not closed. It is very convenient to complete several achievements at the same time, for example, “Keeper of Wisdom”, as well as “Exploration of Draenor”. Next we complete the task “On Guard”. To do this, you have to cope with 12 different daily missions. Tasks appear every day on the commander’s desk in the main Garrison building. The peculiarity is that completing missions with only one character counts. Thanks to patch 6.2, it has become easier to obtain achievements, since it became possible to purchase a special report for the price of 200 Garrison Resources. So we figured out how to fly in Draenor and what you need for this.

As with Warlords of Draenor, flights to WoW Legion They do not open to players immediately, and right now (at the time of writing - patch 7.1) they are not available at all. However, the achievements that you need to complete in order to fly where you want in the future can be obtained now. This guide will be useful for those who want to prepare in advance for flying in Legion.

To begin with, I would like to talk about a couple of things that can replace flying for you, at least for a while.

This toy has the effect that Aviana's Feather had in Draenor - it throws you high into the air. She is a reward for the achievement “Young Chick” - you need to find Aviana (32.3, 66.7) at the forest waterfall in Highmountain and complete her task.

You can buy it from the first engineer you come across or at an auction. This thing will allow you to land without any incidents, falling from any height, the main thing is to activate it in time. Some class spells that reduce the speed of falling and other items with the same effect can also come in handy here.

Now let's move on to achievements and how to get them. Unlike Draenor, here you don’t have to look for hidden treasures everywhere, which makes the task much easier.

Pioneer of the Broken Isles, Part 1

The condition for obtaining this achievement is to obtain all of them, which we will look at below. Please note that you will have to run around and complete a lot of quests. You can buy the achievement “Pioneer of the Broken Isles, Part 1” on our website. This will allow you to significantly speed up your movement around the Broken Isles.

One of the simplest achievements, which can be obtained by opening all the main Legion locations on the map. For opening a location, you will be given one of the achievements Azsuna, Val'sharah, Highmountain, Stormheim and Suramar - only these are needed for the Broken Isles achievement.

Most of these locations will be unlocked by simply completing quests there, so there shouldn't be any difficulties. The remaining areas can be found by looking at the undrawn areas of the map or by using the TomTom add-on to find hidden areas.

Remember that you need to open locations with the same character, otherwise the achievement will not count.

This achievement will take much longer than the research one, but for the most part it can be done while leveling up your character. The condition for obtaining is the achievement “Vrykul Story, bro! ", "Azsuna Matata", "Full Val'sharah", "Knee-deep Mountains" and "Good Suramaritan".

All these achievements can be obtained by completing the stages of plot development marked in the list of tasks. As a rule, available tasks that begin these stages are marked directly on the map, the only exception being Suramar.

Stages of plot development in Suramar cannot be completed immediately, since some of them are tightly tied to the reputation of the Nightfallen, and sometimes require going to a raid or Mythic dungeon and bringing something from there.

Buy the Legion Loremaster achievement for your character you can on our website.

The condition for obtaining this achievement is completing 100 world quests. World quests become available after completing the quest “Union of Factions”, for which you need to win the friendliness of all five main factions on the Broken Isles. This is quite simple to do - you just need to complete the main storyline in each of the main Legion locations, and you are guaranteed friendliness (unless the Nightfallen resist a little).

You will complete 100 world quests sooner or later anyway, so there is little point in doing them specifically for the sake of achieving it.

This achievement is not very difficult, but it does take time. The condition is respect from the 6 factions of the Broken Isles - the Valarjar, the Dreamweavers, the Nightfallen, the Highmountain Tribes, the Court of Farondis and the Guardians. You can read more about reputation and leveling it up in our reputation guide.

The process of obtaining this achievement is made easier by the fact that, unlike previous expansions, there is no need to achieve Exalted status with multiple factions. Getting respect is much easier.

You can increase the amount of reputation you receive by visiting the Darkmoon Fair and riding the carousel there or wearing the Darkmoon Top Hat on your head. Well, don’t forget about people’s racial ability to increase the influx of reputation by 10%.

To get this achievement, you simply need to complete your campaign. class stronghold– as a reward you will also receive a title corresponding to the chosen class. By the way, we have a guide to class strongholds.

You are unlikely to miss class hall quests if you appear there at least sometimes, but remember that you need to complete them all if you want to get the achievement.

According to the developers, the first part of the conditions required to obtain
