Map of RV Campgrounds. Camping sites

Campings- territories of complex tourist destination. It is a commercial recreational form of land use common in many countries. The campsites have minimal real estate and permanent buildings. Located in natural areas, usually near natural or historical landmarks, campsites are service oriented active rest Outdoors or cognitive - in the case of a close cultural environment. If in hotels rooms are rented out to guests, then in campsites there are areas of territory for temporary parking of tents, cars with tents, motorhomes or caravans. Accommodation facilities in campsites can be considered bungalows, caravans, and mobile homes for rent. The latter, although they may have wheels, are not, unlike caravans, a vehicle.

Mobile homes, like caravans, purchased for seasonal temporary residence or outdoor recreation, in environmentally friendly conditions. Their owners do not resolve the issues of acquiring land, but prefer to pay seasonal rent. rent for the use of areas in campsites.

Like caravans Vehicle more opportunities than mobile homes to change their temporary registration. You can change more than one campsite during a season or vacation. In the latter case, it looks like a journey. Therefore, from the caravan you can get double impression. On the one hand, attached to a tractor vehicle, migrating from one temporary parking lot to another, a caravan is a means of travel. On the other hand, a caravan standing in one place at a campsite for the entire season (often more than one), covered with protective aprons and awnings, is akin to bungalows or mobile homes.

Relationship motorhomes and campsites- the most temporary. Motorhomes are purposefully purchased for road trips rather than for long stays in campsites. For a motorhome, parking at a campsite is often only a place to spend the night and perform household maintenance (draining, filling water, cleaning the dry closet). This transit need for parking has given rise to a form of proposals for tourist transport, called campsites (Stellplatz, German).

Compared to campsites, campsites- only parking lots with an area for carrying out household services for motorhomes (often machines paid for with coins or tokens). They can be located in natural area, and within the city limits. Campsites can be paid (much cheaper than campsites) or free. An advantage over campsites is often their closer location to natural or cultural attractions. As a rule, only motorhomes and cars with caravans stop at campsites.

When camping is a whole world. The camping area can be functionally divided into parts. The main thing is the placement zone, which represents the main part of the territory divided into sections. Part of this area is often occupied by rental bungalows and mobile homes. Together with regular clients - caravans that stay for the whole season, they form the most equipped part of the campsite. Other areas, passing from guest to guest, are free for any type of parking: tent, motorhome or caravan. Sometimes it is campground policy to designate separate sites for RVs.

Necessary part camping infrastructure is a household area, which can be of different levels of arrangement, but must provide a sanitary minimum. The living area may include a sauna, laundry room, and kitchen. And sometimes there may only be toilets, washbasins and showers, and hot water with tokens.

The rest camping areas, with the exception of the area occupied by the administrative building and the reception, should serve to ensure leisure and recreation for tourists. Here, just like in the residential area, you can find different levels of infrastructure and service. Campsites, like hotels, have different categories of stars (from one to five). The layout of the campsite, the level and quality of infrastructure and service are expressed in its star rating. Campsites can have a swimming pool, tennis courts, mini-golf, a restaurant and a market, or they can only have a bar and have non-specialized outdoor areas for active games.

However, it is not only the quality of infrastructure, the level of tourist and consumer services that determine the attractiveness of a campsite for tourists. No less important is its location relative to attractions, natural or cultural, the natural quality of the territory itself, its landscaping and distance from industrial zones. It happens that preference remains for low-star campsites rather than five-star ones, rich in services, but located, for example, near the highway.

Part camping infrastructure specifically related to caravanning. This is, first of all, electrical wiring carried out in areas hosting motorhomes and caravans. Special panels with sockets are raised on supports above the ground. They are accompanied by standard cables for electrical connection of motorhomes. In specially equipped campsites, water supply is also provided to the sites. The same support with sockets at the top may also have a water tap at the bottom. From the tap they directly connect the plumbing of mobile homes (if this is provided structurally) or periodically fill their tanks clean water. But such a large-scale supply of water rarely happens. Usually there are very few areas where electricity and water are supplied and they are used for caravans camping all season. As a rule, there are only a few water taps throughout the campsite from which water can be filled into the tanks.

It happens that there is generally only one faucet for filling water and it is located in a special plumbing area designed to carry out the entire range of household services for mobile homes: draining waste water, filling it with clean water, cleaning the dry closet. Such zones also come in different levels of arrangement. It’s good to have a public hose for filling water on a reel or simply rolled up. But more often you have to use your own hose.

Ideally, a platform with a centrifugal slope is provided for draining waste water. Then, if you do not place your mobile home on the site, the water from the waste water taps will flow into the collector in the center. More often, when a mobile home has to be precisely positioned above the collector, so that the drain valves are located exactly above it. Sometimes the following device is used to drain water: a thick flexible hose, one end connected to the collector, and the other end put on the drain taps.

To clean dry toilets, special wide toilets are provided (regular toilets are prohibited from being used due to the high risk of clogging). But such toilets are not always available (especially at campsites). Then the dry closet, like waste water, is also drained into the collector.

Parking places are divided into long-term and short-term

Long-term parking

This, as the rule, is camping or, most often in Russian conditions, just a place you like (in the parking lot of a beach, water park, in the forest, by a river, etc.)

When traveling to a long-term parking lot, it is very important to know where exactly you are going.

If this is an unfamiliar region for you, then you need to stop at a site convenient for you, unhook the trailer and find a place for long-term parking.

If you have a modern caravan, then there is absolutely no need to look for a campsite. It is much more convenient, more interesting and cheaper to find a paid parking lot on the beach and stay there. Example. Yalta has a wonderful, equipped campsite. It is absolutely not necessary to unhitch where and explore the access routes to it. But, having arrived there, you will pay a relatively considerable amount for parking and, most importantly, you will have to travel to the sea by car, because... this campsite is located far from the beaches. At the same time, next to the Yalta hotel there is an excellent parking lot 5 meters from the sea. By paying the security 100 rubles a day for connecting to electricity, you will receive practically free rest in an elite place, you will fall asleep and wake up to the sound of the surf, which is something that guests of the nearby Yalta Hotel, who paid $300 a day for the hotel, are deprived of.

Examples of long-term parking

Short-term parking

These are places intended exclusively and only for overnight stays on the road.

As a rule, any gas station is suitable for this.

There is one very important nuance here. You have traveled several hundred km. You are tired, hungry and want to sleep.

Here it is, a gas station where you can have dinner and spend the night in comfort and warmth. It's cold outside, but you have gas cylinders and in 10 minutes you will be warm and cozy in your caravan trailer. You will take a shower, fry your favorite steak and go to bed so that tomorrow morning you can continue your journey with fresh strength. Everything is fine.

But when you try to turn on the heating, you are surprised to discover that the long-awaited warmth is not there. It turns out that when purchasing a trailer, you did not order an Alde heating system, deciding that a simple standard one would be enough for you. But it only works with 220 V. You, tired, take the generator out of the trunk of the car, and then look for a bicycle lock so that it doesn’t get stolen at night.

When you get into the shower, you discover that you have run out of water in the tank. You were warned when purchasing a trailer that a 55 liter tank is not enough. A minimum of 140 liters is needed. It was necessary to order additional water tanks..

You are angry and hungry and open the refrigerator, but the food gives off an unpleasant smell and there is no cold. You were told that you need to order an electrical package, because... when in motion, the refrigerator can only operate from the trailer’s battery, and when in motion, unlike when stationary, it is charged only from the on-board power supply of your car. Important note: when parked, the refrigerator runs on gas or 220 V. When moving, it runs on 12 V.

Types of campers:

  • Trailer tent
  • Trailer-dacha (trailer)
  • Kastenvagen (minivan converted into a motor home)
  • Alcove bus (double bed located above the driver's cab)
  • Semi-integrated model (without superstructure over the driver's cabin)
  • Integrated motorhome (the driver's cabin is part of the interior)
In motorhomes you can travel not only around Russia, but also around other countries.

Buy a van

The cost of a camper depends on several parameters:

  • View (dacha trailer, casten van, etc.)
  • Country of origin
  • Amount of gasoline consumed
You can also purchase either a new or used model. For example, the cost of an already used tent trailer starts from 150,000 rubles, and a new alcove bus from 2,000,000 rubles.

Immediately after purchasing a camper, it will need to be insured.

Typically, the package of services provided by the campsite includes:

  • Drain/fill water
  • Connecting to Wi-Fi
  • Electrical connection
  • Rental:
  1. Electric kettle
  2. Crockery and other kitchen utensils
  3. Bed linen and towels, etc.
  • Usage :
  1. Kitchens
  2. Laundry
  3. Shower/toilet
  4. BBQ area
The only official Moscow camping site is located in Sokolniki Park (you can find out all the necessary information atofficial website ) .

Daily pitch rental (parking spaces) in Moscow starts from 800 rubles, and monthly from 14 thousand (depending on the services provided).

The price of camping abroad will vary depending on the country and city.

There are many private and public parking lots in Moscow. Their list can be found in open sources.

Depending on the length of your stay, you can pay for parking daily or purchase a subscription.

Since the parking space is not designed to accommodate a motorhome, the driver will have to consider the following issues:

  • Draining water into the sewer
  • Possibility of cooking directly in the parking lot
  • Electrical connection (for example, you can contact the owner and discuss this item individually) etc.
Important: legislation does not prohibit placing a camper in a parking lot.

Equipment

To make staying in a camper comfortable, the bus must be equipped with:

  • Gas (propane tank)
  • Electricity (cables, sockets, lighting, etc.)
  • By water (clean and used tanks, sink or shower)
The mobile home can also accommodate a dry toilet with a replaceable capsule (if the design allows).

Many campsites automatically provide these services (they can be either paid or free), however, when located in a regular parking lot, the owner will have to resolve these issues independently.

Important: it is better to entrust the replacement of gas cylinders to a specialist, as this involves a certain risk.

Electricity can be obtained either by installing a generator or by connecting to an external source.

In order to supply water, it is necessary to conclude an agreement with the supplier. In this case, the owner will need to discuss the issue of disposal.

Important: the bus can be heated using electricity or a gas cylinder. The same goes for heating water.

Getting around Moscow

In November 2014, the Department of Transport and Road Infrastructure Development developed a cargo frame project that limits the movement of large vehicles (weighing more than 2.5 tons) around town.

More details with additional information (map, list of streets, etc.) can be found on the Department's website.

Important: violation of travel rules is subject to a fine of 5,000 rubles.

Driver's license to drive a campervan

Depending on the type of camper, the driver must obtain a license in the following categories:

  • B - cars with a maximum weight not exceeding 3.5 tons and the number of seats, in addition to the driver's seat, not exceeding eight
  • BE - cars of category B with a trailer whose weight exceeds 750 kg
  • C - cars weighing more than 3.5 tons, including with a trailer up to 750 kg
  • C1 - vehicles with a maximum weight from 3.5 tons to 7.5 tons
  • CE - category C vehicles with a trailer, the weight of which ranges from 750 kg to 3.5 tons
  • C1E - cars of category C1, the weight of which exceeds 3.5 tons, but does not exceed 7.5 tons coupled to a trailer whose weight exceeds 750 kg, with a total weight of not more than 12 tons
  • D - vehicles for transporting passengers that have more than 8 seats in addition to the driver's seat, including with a trailer weighing up to 750 kg
  • D1 - cars with 8-16 seats, in addition to the driver's seat
  • DE - Category D vehicles with a trailer weighing from 750 kg to 3.5 tons
  • D1 E - cars of category DE with a trailer, the mass of which is not less than 750 kg, but not more than 12 tons
To travel abroad, you must obtain an international driver's license.
