I usually don't write reviews, but I just can't remain silent here.
We chose this hotel based on its rating on top hotels, among other things. Why does the hotel have such a rating? It remains a mystery to me.
We vacationed from October 15-28 with a two-year-old child and an elderly mother. To say that there is a bad attitude towards Russians is to say nothing. Perhaps this is the first vacation that I wanted to end early and not come to this hotel again. Not a single day did we feel welcome.

RECEPTION AND CHECK IN. We arrived at the hotel early in the morning. After a sleepless night with the child, I wanted to rest a little. Check-in at the hotel from 14.00. There were free rooms and at the reception they offered to check us in early for $20. We had to do this for the sake of the child. We took two rooms - for me and the child and for my mother. The rooms turned out to be terrible. Russians are usually housed in one building with windows facing the highway. It must be said that these are very noisy rooms and it is impossible to sleep with the windows open. We were doubly unlucky. Our windows also looked out onto a mini zoo - chickens, geese, goats and a rooster that had not let up since 2.30 in the morning. He could be heard even with the windows closed. Mom had a strong smell of bleach in her room, and the smell of goats came from the street. This is unacceptable for an allergy sufferer. But they did not change the numbers, citing the fact that there were no vacancies. They suggested that we approach this issue tomorrow. After a sleepless night, we did just that. Instead of two rooms, we found one - in the same wing, but not with access to the road. The room smelled strongly of sewer and was very damp. After another sleepless night, we moved the child back to the room with the rooster and the road, and my mother was moved into this damp room. I simply didn’t want to move anywhere else; I wanted a little peace.
At the reception we were also not treated as nicely as we were used to. They didn’t want to talk, but gestured to the Russian-speaking Yulia, a woman they had bullied, who was trying to solve our problems. They were also not shy about discussing us in their own language and making fun of my mother. The young man at the reception didn’t hesitate to give my mother (who is his second oldest) a twirl on the head when we took out cards for the water park. Just being rude. That is, respect for elders is also not established there, as well as simple decency and upbringing. In general, there was no quiet life in the rooms. One day they were repairing something in the courtyard under our windows, the next day they were infesting our wing with cockroaches; we couldn’t go into the room until late at night, and the smell from the sewer was still there for three days after that. Another morning, the hotel's sewer system burst. The stench was overwhelming until lunchtime and we couldn’t even breathe calmly at sea. Apparently all the sewage was poured there.

LOCATION. The hotel is located far from the city center, where, in fact, there is nothing to do either. There are only a few small shops and a pharmacy in the area. There is nowhere to leave the hotel. Tour operators offer excursions. There are no groups in the fall. But I was lucky - I went to El Jem. The program includes the Colosseum and the Mosaic Museum. Nice excursion. I recommend.

RESTAURANT. We liked the food at the hotel. Thanks to the chefs. The table is varied and tasty. There is fish and a lot of vegetables. There is always beef and pork. Also local dishes and sweets. No decent cereal for breakfast, tasteless milk. Otherwise we thought everything was fine. But we were faced with the fact that in the restaurant, when the hotel was very busy, there was nowhere to sit. There are free tables, but they are set for someone else. There are no official table reservations, but they are not allowed on these tables, they are waiting for someone, but not us. There was a company of 5 people and it was impossible to find a place for us. We had to divide by 3 and 2. At first, the waiters even kicked us off the tables, not at all embarrassed that we were with a small child. Only after a week of staying in this hotel did they begin to recognize us and in the end they even invited us to tables. The waiters try, but naturally they pay more attention to the Germans and Arabs.

BEACH. The beach is good, the sand is wonderful. But! The first time we came to the beach, we took towels and asked for mattresses. To which they mimicked my mother and pointed to a stack of mattresses. There was not even any talk about the proposal to convey them. They didn't even help her take them off. Watching a woman with sore legs drag these mattresses, none of the four men sitting there even stood up. I was shocked by this attitude. This is the first time I've encountered this. The next day I went there with my child, and the story repeated itself, only I also heard a discussion from the beach workers that these were Russians and they did not need help. This is nationalism! I was told that maybe they wanted a tip. I'd gladly give them to them if these people would just get off their asses and do their job. After that, the desire to communicate and tip was completely eliminated. In 14 days I was asked to bring mattresses only once.

ANIMATION. The hotel has animation. Everything happens according to schedule. Warm-up, aqua aerobics, dancing, games. The animation is unobtrusive. So much so that they never approached us. They probably didn’t know what language to speak to us. Although we understand English and can communicate. It's the same with children's animation. We went to a mini disco in the evening. The child liked it. There was a good children's animator, but she did not invite Russian-speaking children. At the end of our vacation, a Russian-speaking animator appeared. Perhaps the situation has changed.

ROOM CLEANING. The rooms are cleaned every day. During the daytime hours from 12 to 15, there was not a single towel in the rooms to dry yourself with. They change them in all rooms. Our room was cleaned by a nice girl who didn’t speak English or Russian, so we explained ourselves with signs. When I gave the tip, she brought the rugs to the room. I always cleaned while my child was sleeping. The sign didn't help. One day I went to bed with my child and put on earplugs. I woke up to someone tugging on my shoulder. I, not understanding anything, opened my eyes. She showed me that I needed to take the earplugs out of my ears and loudly asked if I needed to get out?))) Well, what can you say? But he’s not angry with her. They just didn’t explain to her that this couldn’t be done.

SERVICE IN ROOMS.
This applies to troubleshooting. They come, but sometimes the repairs take several days. A friend's phone didn't work for three days. We left two applications. There was no way to connect with the master. When another friend of ours asked when to wait for the technician to adjust the antenna, she was told to sit in the room and wait. 2 hours passed, but no one came. We called and had an argument - they came right away and adjusted everything.

RESULT. The hotel is aimed at Germans. Lots of German older couples. Russians are treated with arrogance and contempt.
Not all of them, of course, but there is such a tendency. It’s not clear, really, why? Personally, we are not sex tourists, we don’t smoke, we don’t drink, we’re not self-centered. But they don’t want to receive us well. Personally, we will not go there again and will not recommend it to people. If you still want to go there, then my advice is to take men. In their presence, the Arabs of this hotel behave more reservedly.

The processing of personal data is carried out by the Agent and his authorized representatives (Tour Operator and direct service providers) for the purpose of fulfilling this agreement (including, depending on the terms of the agreement, for the purpose of processing travel documents, booking rooms in accommodation facilities and with carriers, transferring data to the consulate of a foreign state, resolving claims issues when they arise, submitting information to authorized government bodies (including at the request of courts and internal affairs bodies)).

I hereby confirm that the personal data provided by me to the Agent is reliable and can be processed by the Agent and his authorized representatives.

I hereby give my consent to the Agent and Tour Operator to send me emails/information messages to the email address and/or mobile phone number I have provided.

I hereby confirm that I have the authority to provide personal data of the persons specified in the Application, and undertake the obligation to reimburse the Agent for any costs associated with my lack of appropriate authority, including losses associated with sanctions of inspection authorities.

I agree that the text of my consent to the processing of personal data, given by me of my own free will, in my interests and in the interests of the persons specified in the Application, is stored electronically in a database and/or on paper and confirms the fact of consent to process and transfer personal data in accordance with the above provisions and take responsibility for the accuracy of the provision of personal data.

This consent is given for an indefinite period and can be withdrawn by me at any time, and insofar as it concerns a specific person, the subject of personal data specified in the Application, by the specified person by sending a written notice to the Agent by mail.
