Tourists are not far behind. There are especially many kissing foreigners during the holidays: Christmas, March 8 and, of course, Valentine's Day. It’s even somewhat reminiscent of a kissing marathon, because tourists take up everything observation decks, large tourist buses, numerous cafe tables, as well as places for open air on boats scurrying along the Seine.
Many newlyweds specially fly to Paris on December 21 to have their first wedding night here: in the city of love and on the longest night of the year. Guidebooks and brochures contain a lot of beliefs that, supposedly, in order to live happily ever after and not grieve, you need to ride a fast carousel and kiss. Just think, many people do this, risking being left without teeth.
What else to see in Paris?
Paris is a city that really has something to see. It differs from many European cities in that it is rich in endless squares, beautiful parks, ancient palaces and castles, large squares with many exquisite statues and splashing fountains. And all this is close to each other.
The residential areas are very beautiful. Not like ours. At least, the prudent French put all the utility systems (wires, etc.) underground, and nothing hangs overhead. Residents of the houses decorate their balconies with lace tablecloths and flowers, which makes the outside room even more beautiful and pleasing to the eyes of passers-by.
After all, the French create everything with special trepidation and love!
