How to get to Augustus et Otto

• Airport. Take bus 191 to the final stop Anděl. After 700 meters walk (). Travel time is 50 minutes. If you arrive at night, then take bus 910 to Švandovo divadlo, then tram 98 to Anděl. Then walk 600 meters ().
• Florence bus station. Immediately near the station is the entrance to the Florenc-B metro station, follow to the Anděl station. At night take tram 92 to the Lazarská stop. After 98 take the tram to Anděl, then walk, see the diagram above.
• Main railway station. After leaving through the main exit, turn right and walk through the park to the tram stop Hlavní nádraží, from there take tram 9 to Anděl and walk 600 meters to the hotel. At night it’s the same only on tram 98.

Repair and furniture are shabby. Wifi is weak for working on a laptop. I asked for a double bed, but in fact my husband and I slept on single mattresses pushed together. The hotel confirmed the service for free. However, on the day of departure we were told that the employee had made a mistake and other guests were moving into the room. We had to change clothes and close our suitcases (with additional souvenirs) in the lobby. Although we planned to lie down to rest and change clothes in our room before the flight.

Some girls at the reception speak Russian. It is very comfortable. They gave us a bottle of Lambrussco when they found out we were on our honeymoon. High-quality cleaning every day.

We liked everything!)))

Excellent hotel! I liked everything, the location (almost the center but a quiet area), very clean and comfortable room. The mattresses and pillows are very comfortable and we had a great sleep! They allowed us to check out a little later, which made us happy because... the train was at 17.00. If you go out to the river and walk to the bridge, you will see a whole flock of snow-white swans that you can feed by hand! The service staff is very friendly and speaks Russian. Definitely suitable for people in wheelchairs. I myself am in a wheelchair, there is only 1 step at the entrance. There is a large elevator and room 18 is equipped with everything necessary for a comfortable stay. This is the first hotel in Prague that fully met my expectations! The price-quality ratio is beyond praise!

The room was located in the attic, so there was no view from the window. When the temperature outside is +35 in the room it is +35. The air conditioners are old, probably never cleaned, so their presence did not solve the issue with the temperature regime. There are no windows for ventilation in the bathroom, so the air temperature there is like a sauna. We have stayed at this hotel before, but the breakfasts have gotten worse. Of course you won’t leave hungry, but compared to how it was before...

Good pressure of hot water. Kettle in the room. One of the rather rare breakfast products is a bottle of sparkling wine. Breakfast overall is quite modest, but not bad. The reception staff is very friendly.

We ordered a room with one bed in advance, but they gave us two, and the room looked sad, to put it mildly. However, they later changed it to another, but also with nuances. The kitchen floor is sticky. It's better not to drink coffee. Upon check-in you must leave a deposit. When you check out they check the minibar, it’s not very nice.

When booking there was no information about a deposit of 50 Euros per person and tax. We were there on the last day of our trip and it might have turned out that I wouldn’t have had those 50 euros and the card with me... A friend came to the rescue and paid with his card. This is very inconvenient when you find out about additional costs on the spot after the fact. The rooms are very small and do not correspond at all to the photographs on the website; the double bed was connected from two single beds and kept moving apart. I think for this price per night this hotel could have installed a normal wide bed, especially since a request for a shared bed was sent in advance.

Not the first time in Prague and I think not the last. I will definitely consider this hotel to stay in again. Clean, comfortable hotel with helpful staff. Very cozy patio with smoking area. We stayed at this hotel 2 times during 1 trip and we were placed in different rooms. In general, I liked both numbers, but there was a noticeable big difference in terms of space. The room on the top floor under the roof is significantly smaller. But for those who don’t plan to spend a lot of time at the hotel, it’s just right. The hotel staff met us without any problems when we arrived at 6 am (check-in was after 3 pm): we were able to leave all our things, tidy up the toilet and relax a bit on the patio with a cup of coffee. The most important advantage of the hotel is its location. Valike from the crowds of tourists, but close to the Vltava (3 minutes), the Staropramen brewery (5 minutes) and a large shopping center (7 minutes) with various clothing, shoe and cosmetics stores (including the Czech Manufactory) and a huge Tesco. Sound insulation is acceptable, although tourists from many countries for some reason like to talk loudly in the corridors - you can hear it very well from the corridor. 4. The room was fairly clean, they didn’t always vacuum it, the bed sheets were changed once on the fifth day out of seven. The bathroom is always clean, hairdryer, toilet paper. Shampoo is not enough, gel is enough. The towel is not changed until you throw it on the floor - which is what the sign says, including in Russian, in the bathroom. 5. Location at a key transport point - bus terminals, intersection of tram and metro lines. True, it takes 20 minutes to walk to the center (Charles Bridge) and this will happen every day, because... other places are not very touristy. 6. Excursions were taken on Old Town Square from IloveTravelex.

Close to Andel metro station, Na Knizice bus station and tram stop, and a 20-minute walk to the center. The room is warm, clean, with plenty of storage space. Mini bar - it served as a refrigerator. There is a wide variety of hot food for breakfast, although it is the same every day. There were three of us in a double room, so for a 4 year old child. They installed a playpen for free in which she fit perfectly. All the staff are very polite. Almost everyone speaks Russian. It so happened that we lived here for 5 days, and the other two days in another hotel, also a four-star hotel, and in comparison, Augustus is really a four-star hotel, and if it’s a three-star hotel, it’s excellent! The second hotel was Ambiente, I don’t recommend going there.

This is probably a problem with all hotels; they are not very clean in hard-to-reach places.

The location of the hotel is on a quiet street, on the corner there is a police station. Near the river, 1 stop to the metro by tram or 5 minutes on foot, there is also a shopping center with a large Tesco supermarket. The hotel is only for guests, a random person will not get into the building, the door has an electronic lock, it is opened by the person on duty at the reception desk. In the evening you can walk along the river and feed the swans. Nearby is the Staropramen brewery, and around it there are several breweries.

Breakfast at the hotel is good. Two types of yogurt, canned fruit compote, sliced ​​cheese, sausage, bacon, fresh cucumbers and tomatoes, bell peppers. Hot, boiled potatoes with onions and bacon, scrambled eggs with ham, scrambled eggs, sausages, sausages cut in half, sometimes thin German sausages. Pancakes and pancakes with jam. For dessert there are two types of pies (cottage cheese, chocolate, apple strudel, chocolate with soufflé). Dry wine is also served. The hotel has a covered courtyard used for paid parking.

Our room overlooked the courtyard, and downstairs near the parking lot there is a smoking area, it is close to the building and therefore all the smoke entered our room. The window could not be opened, and the floor-mounted air conditioner was not working properly and could not cope with cooling the room. Some rooms have a split system, but for it an additional payment of 3 € per day was required. Free only for those guests who booked through booking. Cleaning the room and changing linen was a C grade, the hotel staff are from Ukraine and I had to remind them several times to change linen. Lazy maids.
