On Easter (April 8), Krasnaya Gorka (April 15) and Radonitsa (April 17), free buses will be launched on 37 routes to city cemeteries in the capital and in the immediate Moscow region. They will run from 5.30 to 19.00 at intervals of 1 to 5 minutes.

Moscow taxi companies have committed themselves not to increase tariffs for Easter holidays- said Maxim Liksutov. - I appeal to them to fulfill this promise.

In total, more than 30 thousand employees of the transport complex will serve passengers during the Easter holidays. According to preliminary estimates, the city public transport will carry about 8 million passengers over Easter.

In addition, on Easter (April 8) for 53 commuter trains will increase the number of stops, mainly near cemeteries near Moscow. For the safety of citizens, additional police patrols will monitor order near churches, cemeteries, and on surface and metro routes. Additional security and transport police posts will be opened on trains and platforms.

“During the Easter holidays, over one thousand citizens will be transported free buses. For the convenience of Muscovites, additional transport will run on several regular routes,” said the first deputy general director Mosgortrans Boris Tkachuk.
