#11: Phuoc Nhon Mud Bath

Impossible to miss, the Lady Buddha statue dominates the landscape of Da Nang.The marble statue is located on Monkey Mountain and is visible from almost anywhere in the city; its height is 67 meters.Inside the statue is a staircase that takes you through 17 floors, each of which presents a different view of the Buddha's teachings.

The Lady Buddha's name is a bit misleading; the statue actually depicts Kuan Ying, the Buddhist Goddess of Mercy. The observation deck next to the statue offers a truly magnificent view of the surrounding area and the city. Lady Buddha is a major tourist attraction for any sightseeing tour according to Da Nang.

2. Marble Mountains

is a cluster of five marble and limestone mountains located south of Da Nang. The five mountains were named after the five elements: Kim (metal), Tuy (water), Moc (wood), Hoa (fire) and Tho (earth).

The Marble Mountains are home to several Buddhist and Hindu shrines. A staircase of 156 steps leads to the top of Mount Tui, only this Marble Mountain is accessible to tourists and offers beautiful views of the surrounding area.

3. Dragon Bridge

One of the most unusual and unexpected attractions of Da Nang is the Dragon Bridge spanning the Han River. He is the most long bridge in Vietnam, but this is not its uniqueness, the Dragon Bridge is not just a name, the 666-meter long bridge is actually designed in the shape of a golden dragon. The bridge was officially opened in 2013 after two years of construction to mark the 38th anniversary of the liberation of Da Nang. According to local beliefs, the dragon is an important symbol of power, nobility and good luck.

The views from the embankment to the bridge are the most popular place among traveling photographers, the most best views on the bridge in the evening when it is illuminated.


4. Fifth Military Division Da Nang Museum

5. Non Nuoc Beach

Located on the coast approximately halfway between Da Nang and Hoi Hoi, Non Noc Beach is considered one of the most beautiful beaches in Vietnam and is among the top 10 beaches in the world. The beach is quite large, its length is almost 5 kilometers, from the north the beach bordersthe Son Tra Peninsula and the Marble Mountains to the west.

Non Nuoc Beach attracts tourists from all over the world with its soft white sand, warm sea, gentle entrance to clean water and soft waves throughout the year.


6. Monkey Mountain

American soldiers stationed near Son Tra Mountain during the Vietnam War gave it the nickname Monkey Mountain due to the sheer number of macaques that lived in the jungle on the mountain.During the war, the mountain served as a military base, used for radar and communications.

Monkey Mountain is home to a breathtaking national park, at an altitude of 693 meters above sea level. The park is located half an hour from Da Nang, which makes it popular tourist destination not only among tourists, but also among the local population. 7. Da Nang Cathedral

Da Nang Cathedral was built by French priest Louis Vallet in 1923 and immediately earned a reputation as one of the most unique cathedrals in Vietnam. The cathedral is also known as the Church of the Rooster due to its impressive bell tower, which is topped by a weather vane with a rooster.


8. Khe Beach

Khe Beach is located at the northern end of a stunning 30-kilometer stretch of coastline known as China Beach, 6 kilometers from Da Nang in Central Vietnam.
