The entire room stock is equipped with new and incredibly comfortable, in the opinion of vacationers, furniture, as well as modern appliances that work properly without any problems, the bathrooms have a shower, and in addition there is a full set of bath accessories.

The choice of dishes from Thai and European cuisines is quite wide, although this list practically does not change. It’s hard to call this a drawback, because how tasty and satisfying the food is prepared outweighs all other little things.

Both meat-eaters and vegetarians will be able to create a delicious breakfast, not to mention children, who are sometimes difficult to please.

Any requests or questions are always resolved quickly and with quality. A tourist who has flown here to relax will in no case have to repeat himself again and again, escalating the situation to the limit, besides, a little understanding of the Russian language by the staff already half solves the matter.

Entertainment and animation

The main attraction of the complex is a large, clean swimming pool with many new sun loungers and umbrellas around. A lot of people always gather here to meet people, make new friends, splash in the warm water, sunbathe, or just relax with a refreshing cocktail from the bar. In the evening it is also crowded, which creates an incredibly soulful atmosphere of fun and liveliness.

Despite the absence of any entertainment programs or mini-discos, the kids enjoy it just as much - they can play with their peers, throw a ball or sunbathe right on an inflatable mattress.

Next to the pool there is a small but very cozy green area, where in the morning some tourists are filled with energy for the whole day. Some people do yoga, while others just do physical exercises.

In any case, the absence of an animation team, noisy and entertaining shows does not in any way affect the leisure of guests vacationing here, because Phuket is already rich in all kinds of entertainment centers both for children and adults.

Beach

Typically, most hotels in Thailand are located within one beach, but this is not about Melody Phuket. The “musical” complex is located at the same distance (1.2 km) from the most famous beaches islands – Katy and Karona.

This feature was originally conveyed by one of the tourists who was vacationing here quite recently: “If you go to the left, you will get to Kata, if you go to the right, you will get to Karon.” You can't say it more precisely!

Both sandy beaches are city property, so all necessary equipment (umbrellas, sunbeds, mattresses) are provided for a fee. Ideal for both active and more relaxed pastime - you can relax by calmly sipping a cocktail and basking in the shade of palm trees, or you can go to conquer high waves - for all this, nature has created ideal conditions here.

Children will also appreciate such a vacation - they can build sand castles, splash in the warm waves of the Andaman Sea, or just run and frolic, while dads and moms can put aside excessive excitement, because there is no sharp increase in depth, sharp stones, sticky algae and other things. Tri Trang Beach is also perfect for fun children's games; it is farthest from the hotel, but the conditions for kids there are simply wonderful.

Judging by the reviews of tourists, it is better to go to Kata Noi Beach, located a little further away, for a “love story” shoot. Magnificent tall trees with lush vegetation, snow-white sand and turquoise sea will help you create magnificent photos and videos that are literally straight out of a Bounty advertisement!

Our hotel guide said that reviews are written mainly by interested people, and only 10% of them are real. So I decided to write a real one :) First time in Thailand and in Asia in general. We stayed at the hotel from December 17 to 28. Initially, I found it based on reviews on search sites (booking, tripadvisor), booked through TUI, but the tour operator anex, it turned out cheaper for us. We came across room 3118 - large with a huge bed, a sofa and a view of the mountain. In terms of amenities: Super huge and comfortable bed, I didn’t sleep comfortably at home the first night upon arrival :) 2 glass bottles of water, 0.5 each every day. You can drink water, but leave bottles. Hairdryer, kettle, coffee, tea, 2 sticks of sugar were replenished every day. The toilet and shower flushes worked perfectly, they refilled soap, cotton swabs, and sometimes put shower caps. There were no toothbrushes or toothpaste. I didn’t see any insects or midges in the room or in the hotel. On wifi they give you a piece of paper with a username and password, the first day wifi disappeared every time the phone was blocked and you had to log in again, then it was enough to log in once a day and wifi was connected. Beach towels can be changed once a day at the reception. The cleaning was mediocre, the floors were washed, the bed was made, but since we didn’t really litter, I can’t say that I was unhappy. The sand in the room was removed and toilet paper was put in - this is the main thing :) As for me, the hotel is not inferior to 3* from European ones. During the excursions, we spent the night in 2 other hotels on Khao Sok and Phi Phi, and upon returning I enjoyed the room with great pleasure; what they provide on excursions is not comparable to Melody. We had breakfast included, served from 6:30 to 10:00. I read somewhere that there were few tables for breakfast, which was enough for me, I never saw that there was no place for someone. We ate at 6:00 and 7 and 8:00. Once we had an excursion at 4:30 in the morning, in the evening at the reception I asked for a breakfast box - in the morning I took a sandwich, a boiled egg and something else small + 0.5 water - not a lot, but enough so that I wouldn’t die of hunger in the morning . For food: omelettes, cereals, jams, banana pancakes, fruits (pineapples and watermelons) + 5 or 6 steamers with Thai food (noodles with vegetables, tom yam, rice with vegetables, chicken with vegetables, some other vegetables and sausages). As for me, there was variety, Thai food changed periodically, I will say that at home I have breakfast with less varied dishes :) We had a standard room, and on the ground floor there are rooms with direct access to the pool, but this does not mean that I cannot use the pool , I just need to pass from the street :) It’s open from 8:00 to 20:00, this is logical, so as not to stare at the rooms when I’m passing nearby :) By the way, before the trip I was upset that I wouldn’t be able to use the pool, since the room was different category, then I found out that I could, but I didn’t use it during the whole trip, I just didn’t have time. Why did you write that the hotel is for active people? There is one property of the hotel that makes its price cheaper - its distance from the beaches. It takes 10-15 minutes to get to Karon or Kata, we didn’t actually time it, but it seemed to me that the hotel was equidistant from both beaches. It was a plus for us, since we chose the beach we wanted, and honestly we liked Kata beach more for its comfort and not the sea that bites (I don’t know why, but on Karon something bites in the water) and maybe I’m wrong, but the water on Kata more transparent and an island in the sea makes the view of the sunset more beautiful. Of course, there is also Kata Noi, we’ve been there twice - a very cozy, pleasant beach, smaller but also cool. The hotel staff are cute and smart, it was a pleasure to deal with them. I 100% recommend the hotel, I don’t know if I’ll choose it a second time, it all depends on the circumstances, because I love it different places, but compared to this hotel there is a high probability of choosing a place worse than Melody Phuket.…
