My husband and I vacationed at the Tsokos Paradise Ayia Napa hotel in October; there is no extreme heat at this time. Initially there was a problem with the number. We moved into an apartment on the first floor; there was a stage behind the wall. The music thundered from morning to night. In addition to this, there were ants running around the room. We complained and were moved to a room in the Avakado building on the second floor.
With the exception of this incident, we liked everything about the hotel. The service was excellent, toiletries and linen were changed daily. The food is excellent, we took breakfast and dinner. The dishes made my eyes widen.
At the hotel we relaxed near the outdoor swimming pool. The water is clean, you don't feel chlorine. Beach holidays here are wonderful. A very beautiful sea, although sometimes algae washed up on the shore. Umbrellas with sun loungers are paid, cost 2.5 euros. Water activities expensive.
I was left with vivid impressions from the show of dancing fountains. The excursion took half a day with a visit to the aquarium, fish museum, and the ghost town of Famagusta. At the end we had dinner and the fountain show itself. In Ayia Napa, be sure to visit the ancient monastery and the Museum of the Sea. Overall, our trip to Cyprus was a success. For lovers have a relaxing holiday this hotel is a cozy place.

Tsokos Paradise Village Hotel is ideal for family vacation. We vacationed there with children 3 and 5 years old at the beginning of September 2015. The hotel is located on the edge of Ayia Napa, not far from Landa beach. We were checked in quite quickly. At the reception we got an adapter for sockets. The room was on the second floor with a bedroom, living room and kitchen, which is very convenient when there are children. The kitchen has everything you need: electric kettle, hob, dishes, pots, pans. I cooked soup and porridge for lunch for the children. The furniture in the room was a bit old, but that didn't really matter. They cleaned carefully, changed linen and towels daily.
The food is wonderful. The breakfasts were monotonous, but at dinners there were so many dishes that in 12 days we didn’t have time to try everything. The desserts are to die for. Small children are offered high chairs. If you ask, they will also give you a blender. There is a children's menu, but it is more like fast food: nuggets, fries and pizza. Free alcohol and drinks only if you have an all-inclusive package. Since the hotel is on the outskirts, you can only eat in a tavern nearby, but there is free internet there. Children can have fun on the playground or in the swimming pool. The sea is gorgeous, turquoise, clean. The entrance to the water is gentle. Children played in the splash pool formed by stones on the left side of the beach.
For entertainment, I recommend visiting the water park. We really enjoyed. You can get there either by bus or on foot in 20 minutes. There are many different slides there, there is no crowding of people, there is a very good playground for children. We visited the fish museum and aquarium. The children were delighted with the penguins. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at this hotel.

Great location, clean rooms. Everything is great in Cyprus. Nearby is Landa Beach, much better than Nissi. The food is adequate even for kids and picky eaters. Large swimming pool with a swimming area for little ones. The rooms have kitchens and air conditioning. There is an expensive shop on site, there is a supermarket 5 minutes away. There is a stop nearby.

Small, but convenient area with two-story cottages. The pool is clean. Large parking in front of the Hotel. Sand beach is located across the road, 5 minutes on foot. Next to the Hotel there is a tavern where you can have a delicious lunch with homemade soups (we took half board). You need to take a bus to the center of Ayia Napa (stop 200 m from the Hotel), but there is no noise at night. Overall, the quality matches the price.

The quality of food leaves much to be desired. Several times I came across blatantly spoiled food (corn, tomatoes, watermelon). The service personnel at the Hotel are not used to working efficiently and quickly. The maids are “aimed” exclusively at making money from vacationers and fulfill all requests exclusively with “material support”. At the same time, they will not hesitate to take away dishes or a kettle in your room in order to exchange them for someone who will pay them a 1-2 euro tip for this. This is extremely outrageous from my point of view! The appliances (especially air conditioners) and some furniture are frankly old. In my opinion, the Hotel deserves a solid 3 stars, no more.

Having completed the experiment with Protaras and all-inclusive, we moved to our beloved Napa, to the An Maria hotel of the Tsokkos chain. I’ll explain why we ended up there at the end. Before that, we were there in 2012, so we immediately began to notice the changes that had occurred, namely: the palm trees have grown!; the rooms were renovated, furniture, mattresses, pillows, blankets were replaced, the decor was changed and the rooms began to look very attractive and cozy; the restaurant turned into a Restaurant. As for everything else: - the area is just as clean and well-groomed - the staff is (all) friendly and always ready to help - the pool is clean - the room is cleaned well, towels are changed every day, linen is changed every three days, gels/shampoos are replenished with a supply - in the room kettle, 2 mugs, 2 glasses, tea, coffee, sugar. Dishes are washed, supplies are replenished. - we didn’t use the safe, but 2E/day + 5E deposit; we preferred to leave our passports at the reception and not worry about it - minibar (or rather a small refrigerator) 2E/day + 5E deposit; freezes enough to chill a couple of bottles of wine/water and store fruit - beach towels for a deposit of 5E/piece, can be changed as needed - Restaurant, beyond praise. I haven’t been to Turkey, I don’t know, but the assortment is very large. The chef is a master of his craft. The waiters rustle like electric brooms. I really liked that in the morning they cook in front of you, either pancakes or an omelet. In the evenings, in addition to the "standard" dishes from the chef. There is a charge for drinks at lunch and dinner, but the prices are reasonable. The result of visiting the restaurant was an extra 5 kg, and I was still holding back. - the only drawback that I hope will be corrected is the price for renting bicycles, 8E/day for 1 bike. As a result, the bicycle parking lot is full of unclaimed bicycles, and people take them elsewhere (they cost us 4E/day/piece). In all other respects, I really liked the hotel and left it very good impressions and memories.

And now to the question of why we ended up there, and why this review might not have happened. Attention, as experience has shown, the situation applies to both packet carriers and self-propelled vehicles. We booked in advance (on Ostrovka) and paid in advance to Tsokkos Paradise Village. However, upon arriving there, we heard that everything was very tightly packed and they wanted to send us to another hotel. I didn’t call Ostrovok, it was a waste of money. We found out the hotel, the conditions (added lunch, a safe, a refrigerator, Wi-Fi) and took a free taxi to An-Maria. As a result, we were just lucky in this lottery, but after us they brought package travelers and they were already accommodated in the neighboring Frey Resort (the same Tsokkos) in a bungalow with many shortcomings; they used the infrastructure in An Maria. So now you will have to monitor which network the hotel belongs to and whether it indulges in such overbooking.

Delicious food, although a couple of days there were themed dinners (Mexican, Spanish, etc.) with very spicy food - we couldn’t feed the children. Although the hotel is aimed at families with children. We went there a second time, only because of the child. Who wants to just relax - without children's noise - you should go to another hotel. Very friendly restaurant staff.

We booked the hotel 2.5 months in advance, and when we arrived it turned out there were no rooms in the hotel - everything was booked. They offered another hotel from the same chain with a category higher than 5 stars. AII and close to the center, but the beach is a 20-minute walk - with a stroller in the heat - this is not realistic, but if without children, then the option is super. I had to get nervous at the reception and with great difficulty resolve the unpleasant situation.

The hotel is located 7 minutes' walk from beautiful beach Landa, where people specially come by bus. Also within walking distance are the good Makronissos beach and the famous Nissi Beach, which we didn’t like at all. The hotel is calm, suitable for families with children. At our request, we were given a room away from the pool, it was very quiet there. Excellent attitude of the staff, all requests were fulfilled instantly. Rooms with a kitchen and a minimal but sufficient set of dishes. The room is cleaned every day, very clean. It’s so safe that by the end of the vacation we were completely relaxed and didn’t always close the door when leaving for breakfast and dinner, and left money on the table, nothing was missing. We would like to return next year to the same hotel.

I didn't really like the food, but an adult won't go hungry. For the kids there was not always something to eat for dinner, everything was very salty and with spices. Children aged four and older already ate everything normally, the younger ones need to cook on their own, which is why we chose a room with a kitchen. Internet in the hotel is paid. Our house was close to the highway, motorcycles racing without a muffler made it difficult to sleep, the children were scared at first, but then they got used to it.

The very name “Paradise Village” indicates that here you will not find multi-story noisy buildings.

The entire complex is a scattering of bungalows surrounded by greenery. These houses are two-story, and if you are with children, ask for a basement level so that the child can go out to run on the grass right from the room.

But it’s also good on the second floor: you can sleep with the balcony door open. Although the bungalows are located close to each other, they are also isolated by a living fence, so that an atmosphere of comfort and privacy is created.

The resort was built in 2004, so In some bungalows you can find old furniture. But renovations (including major ones) in Tsokos Paradise Village are not uncommon.

As of 2019, many bungalows have been completely restored. Plumbing, appliances, etc. work very well. No living creatures were seen, since fumigation for mosquitoes and midges is regularly carried out here.

The bungalows are named after plants (“Passion Fruit”, “Banana”, “Olive”, etc.), but they also have rooms. If you come with a child, ask the reception for houses from 10 to 16. These bungalows are located away from the dance floor, and from the road, and from the bar.

The rooms are divided into two categories: studio (bedroom combined with dining area) and ONE BEDROOM apartment (bedroom and living room). These rooms are spacious(30 and 45 sq.m. respectively). Their photos on the site are completely true. It’s interesting that the TV broadcasts, among others, 2 Russian channels, and one of them is a children’s channel, “Carousel,” with cartoons. There are rugs on the stone floors, so your child's feet won't be cold. From household appliances, in addition to the mentioned TV, there are:

The sockets here are European, and an adapter is given free of charge at the reception. Cleaning, as tourists assure, is normal and wet. The maids can even wash the dishes in the sink. Towels are changed every day. Wi-Fi in the hotel is paid– for two devices about 24 euros per week.

From Ayia Napa it is convenient to make excursions to Turkish side islands, to the ghost town of Famagusta (Varosha quarter).
