1. Genoese fortress Kafa

A medieval fortification of the 14th century, built during the time of the Genoese Republic that existed in Crimea. 2. Tower of St. Constantine

The structure was erected in 1911 according to the design of M. F. Piskunov for I. S. Krymov, a descendant of the ancient Karaite dynasty. The name "Dacha Milos" was given in honor of the goddess Venus de Milo. The mansion was built in an elegant neoclassical style. Its facade is decorated with a massive Greek portico with columns in the form of statues. During Soviet times, the building served as a dormitory building for the Voskhod sanatorium.

5. Aivazovsky Art Gallery

A museum where the works of the famous marine painter I.K. Aivazovsky are exhibited. The first exhibition was opened in 1845 on the territory of the mansion where the artist lived. In 1922 it was transformed into state museum. In addition to several hundred works by Aivazovsky himself, about 12 thousand paintings of marine themes by different masters are exhibited here.

6. Alexander Green Museum

Memorial museum dedicated to the writer A. Green, the creator of the story “Scarlet Sails” and other equally interesting works. It is located in a building from 1891, in which A. Green lived from 1924 to 1929. The side wall of the mansion is decorated with a relief panel “Brigantine”. The exhibition consists of household and interior items that belonged to the writer. 7. Museum of Marina and Anastasia Tsvetaev

The museum's collection is dedicated to the Crimean period of the Tsvetaev sisters' creativity. It is composed of exhibits provided by the M. A. Since ancient times, coins have been minted on the territory of Feodosia. The ancient Greeks, Genoese and Crimean Tatars had their own money. At the beginning of the 19th century, the first numismatic exhibition was created within the framework of the Feodosia Museum of Antiquities. The modern museum of money was founded in 2003 on the initiative of O. A. Romanovich, a local collector. 11. Surb Sarkis Church

An Armenian temple from 1330, which in the XIV-XVI centuries served as the spiritual, cultural and educational center of the Armenian diaspora. 12. Grave of I.K. Aivazovsky

The outstanding marine painter was buried in the courtyard of the Armenian Church of St. Sarkis in a place of honor for his particularly valuable contribution to the cultural development of Feodosia and the entire Crimea. At the beginning of the 20th century, by order of the artist’s widow, a marble tombstone made by the Italian sculptor Biojoli was erected on his grave. In 1944, she herself was buried next to the artist.

13. Temple of the Iveron Icon of the Mother of God

The first mention of the temple dates back to the 14th century, although it is believed that it existed long before that time. Before the arrival of the Ottoman Turks in Crimea, the temple was the Armenian Church of St. John the Baptist. At the end of the 19th century, it was again consecrated in honor of the Iveron Icon of the Mother of God. The last restoration work was carried out here in 1996. At the moment the church is active.

14. Mufti-Jami Mosque

The historical Friday mosque of Feodosia, built in the first half of the 17th century. The building was built with funds from the Turkish community, modeled on Istanbul churches. At the end of the 18th century, after Crimea became part of the Russian Empire and until the beginning of the 20th century, a Catholic Armenian church was located on the territory of the mosque. In the 14th century, the temple was the catholicon (main church) of the Armenian Catholic monastery of the Holy Great Martyr George the Victorious. The temple was founded in 1892 on the birthday of Catherine II. The construction project was created in accordance with the architectural traditions of the 17th century. The park is located on the site where a large slave bazaar was located during the early Ottoman Empire. Slaves stolen by the Tatars from Southern Rus' and Eastern Europe were sold at the market. You can swim on the beach in the spring, as the water here warms up quite quickly.

The beach is about 1 km long, located in the central part of Feodosia. It consists of a mixture of small pebbles and sand and has a gentle entrance to the sea. During the high season, the beach gets quite a lot of visitors. a large number of tourists, so it can be crowded here.

Well maintained sand beach, located in one of the best resort areas urban district of Feodosia. The place has a convenient location, excellent climate and warm water. It’s strange that Feodosia is a resort town, very strange. It seems to me that there is nothing special to do here with children. The parks are not equipped for children and neither are the beaches. A huge number of dogs, they walk in packs, climb into the stroller - is this the norm for a resort town? Almost everywhere they are fed, the caps are in shops and in garbage dumps and near homes and in courtyards. I don’t know why the city authorities don’t fine them for this. The city smells very strongly of sewage. I don’t want to offend the local janitors, they work and this work is visible, the city is basically clean, but overflowing trash cans and rats are also apparently a landmark of Feodosia. Regarding housing, I can only write one thing, they will even rent out a barn to you, here no one cares about the quality of service at all they don’t care, they don’t give a damn about the service, as long as the money is paid. It feels like the locals remained in Soviet times, I haven’t seen this for a long time, to be honest. Hotels and mini-hotels are a little expensive, not worth it. The stores have huge problems with expiration dates and complete unsanitary conditions. SES DOES NOT EXIST HERE. The cafes have the same cuisine, especially those near the beaches. Traffic jams all over the city, it’s impossible to wait for a taxi. On the topic of hospitality, to put it mildly, I will remain silent, apparently they are so tired of us all that they no longer hide the fact that they are tired of our presence. We had the imprudence to go on an excursion around the Golden Ring of Crimea and simply threw away our money. Not only did the driver rush like mad all the way, but the guide also got seasick, either from the speed, from the height, or apparently from the tourists. Well, no words.

We went to Feodosia on the advice of friends who have been vacationing in Crimea for several years now.
The first thing that shocked me was the crazy traffic jams, terrible, lasting for many hours. Finding accommodation for a few days is very difficult; private owners try to rent for up to a week. The conditions for private owners are complete “Savdepiya”. Private hotels are a bit expensive and this also occurs in the absence of normal service. I didn't like the city at all. Walked around Komsomolsk Park and were surprised how neglected it was. The central streets are clean, but the smell of sewage kills and the huge number of dogs, in packs of 6 to 10 individuals, is creepy. There are many cafes, you can eat somewhere, the price is normal. The sea seems clean, but the city beach is not so great. It's all very boring. Excursions are very expensive, it’s much easier by car, but again there are traffic jams. If you happen to take a ride on public transport, it’s more like an attraction. Drivers public transport Apparently, you shouldn’t be afraid of anyone, since they break the rules. And I was also very struck by the hostility and inhospitality of the locals, as they say, they came here from the mainland with their own rules. Somehow I don’t want to go to Feodosia anymore, by the way, I liked Evpatoria and Gurzuf much more, both in terms of service and attitude.

In general, in this part of Crimea, it is too early to relax, especially since the prices are comparable to Krasnodar coast, and the service is clearly lower and plus deception, i.e. luring.

On the beach, the algae is not removed, there is trash lying around, rats are running around in the river, in general there are more minuses than pluses, it’s a pity that there is no order?

We were in Feodosia at the beginning of August. First time in Crimea. We arrived by bus from Krasnodar at night and rented a room from a private owner without any problems. The price suited us. For this price and convenience, not a very neat yard and a kitchen in the yard. They said the beach is nearby. It turned out not very good, from the bus station through pedestrian bridge through the railway tracks. It's a fairly high climb up the steps, and it's quite unpleasant in the heat. You can go the other way along the rails, but the same is not pleasant. I liked the beach and sea in this place. Small shell rock and sand. They hinted that we need to keep an eye on things. The people are very different. After Anapa, the sea seemed colder; after a small storm, algae was thrown up, but this did not bother us much. The prices for excursions seemed expensive. Therefore, we went around Crimea for 1 day, liked it, and did not regret it. The city is a bit dirty, especially in the area where we lived, we went to the canteen and bought food at the grocery store. Fruits are much cheaper at the local market. Prices at the canteen are reasonable. There is a railway road along the entire city. Beach, fence, fence across the road and train. Every day we walked on the embankment, where there was entertainment and souvenirs. The sights were not particularly impressive because they were not well maintained. I didn’t like the Aivazovsky Museum at all (we’re not talking about the paintings, of course), as in the village, there were additional signs on the walls on tape... In general, we relaxed for 3 days with pleasure, and then I wanted to leave - it’s hard to go to the sea twice, we studied the sights, we walked around the center... If I lived nearby, it might be worth it to rest there for a couple of days, but we came from Siberia and came to the conclusion that it’s not worth it. I won't go there again and won't recommend it to others. I don’t know if it was better there under Ukraine, maybe in 10 years order will be restored there. Compared to my city, it’s a run-down town, there seem to be no street cleaners there at all...

I was there last year with my family, and we really regretted choosing this city. There are no normal beaches, the sea is dirty, we had to go to the village of Beregovoe, it is located 10 kilometers from Feodosia. The city itself is ancient, there are museums, the Aivazovsky Museum is especially famous. Few shops, poor quality food, and expensive. This city is more suitable for excursions than for relaxation. There is a beach, but it is very dirty. I don't recommend vacationing here. A very boring and gray city. How long have I been preparing for this vacation! It seemed like I wanted to go abroad and at the same time, by train, that is, not far away. I decided that it would be Crimea. First of all, cheap (accommodation and food), quiet small the city, and most importantly, the train goes all the way to the city (which means it’s easy to get to the place). In general, I went. I also took the children with me! I wanted to please! I don’t know how it happened that I didn’t find a single negative review on the Internet about holidays in Feodosia. Apparently, now mine will be the first!

We arrived... And our negative impressions accumulated like a snowball!

Housing. Well, it's cheap. 300r per day. Housing - room, kitchen, toilet. Terrible shabby walls, and the unique smell of cat urine... Well, okay, we were looking for something cheaper, it's our own fault. They promised 5 minutes to the sea, but it turned out to be 15.

The road to the sea takes 15 minutes through mountains of garbage, unauthorized dumps, and dog feces. It was generally difficult to imagine that somewhere here there was a treasured sea.

Sea. Beach. We've arrived. Shock! The sea is 17 degrees (okay, no one is to blame). There is dirt, garbage, algae in the sea. Beach? He was absent. Sharp stones. Beer bottles, cigarette butts. They reassured us and said that there are better beaches further down the road. The next day we honestly walked the entire coastline - I have never seen anything more depressing, sad, dirty, and unkempt.

If I were alone, I would think that I was imagining all this. After all, I read rave reviews.

In general, the whole company we sadly walked around the city and tried to understand where it was “great”, “super”... We walked around the whole city up and down - I have never seen a dirtier city. Pathetic, abandoned. It was a great pity, because there are many heroic pages in the history of the city.

Prices. The prices were amazing! Tomatoes and cucumbers are more expensive than at home! In hryvnias it seems like pennies, but when translated into our rubles, everything is somewhat more expensive than in Russia.

People There is no such rudeness in stores even in Russia. It's called a "resort town"

Entertainment Just terrible. Crowds of people on the embankment are crazy attractions where students work part-time. No safety precautions!

We planned to rest for 14 days...on the 3rd day our nerves were on edge, we all quarreled, and on the 4th day we simply left away from the glorious hero city of Feodosia, which once belonged to Russia.

Almost 3 months have passed since our trip, and I still have a very bad feeling in my soul. It’s a pity for the money wasted, it’s a pity for the ruined vacation (which is once a year), it’s a pity for the once beautiful cozy city Feodosia.

What I didn’t like most about Feodosia was that the lights didn’t work there in the evening and at night. We couldn't go for a walk after 21.00, because later we simply wouldn't get home. The lights outside the embankment did not work at all... and even the asphalts were crooked and askew. One of the advantages in Feodosia is that you can eat inexpensively. There is no special entertainment there, only all sorts of lotteries on the embankment... and shopping, of course. The beach is pebble. Nice beach 15 minutes away by minibus - in Ordzhonikidze. We went there. Some private owners have very bad housing... and for a very normal amount.

The hostess will lure you with discounts, there’s nothing to do there! We came on vacation with our family and stayed in a mini hotel, which looked nice and beautiful. And everything seemed to be fine at first! In the morning we went to the beach to swim, and then it began, the beach is small, there is nowhere to have entertainment, minimum cafes, not enough, not even a place to eat, we went to Koktebel there and there are more people and entertainment in general, life! We arrived and said we were moving out. The hostess (Armenian) at the beginning refused to give the money, but the payment was 30k for 2 weeks, then she raised a fuss and started yelling, in the end we had to pay for 2 nights, well, God bless him, she also paid 1400 R less and said that there is no more When we packed our things, it turned out that the girl’s wallet with all the money was missing. Overall, a great vacation, just 5 points. Hotel on Kalinina Street.

The vacation was not a success. It all started out quite well. We reserved housing, a boathouse right on the shore of the Black Sea embankment. Not cheap, 8 thousand rubles. day. The route lay through the ferry crossing with a single ticket. There are a lot of waits for transport. You have to wait for the ferry, then wait for the bus to Feodosia. Hours pass in anticipation. After the crossing, the buses are destroyed, condensation flows from the air conditioners directly onto the passengers, and the seats are falling apart. In general, the road from Krasnodar to Feodosia took almost 10 hours. Well, okay, we've arrived. To my credit, the owners of the boathouse met me at the station and took me to the place. The first impression is euphoria from the sea. Let me get ahead of myself, this is the only positive point in the review - the sea.... That's it. There is nothing else there, in Feodosia. Since we arrived in the evening, of course we didn’t have time to go shopping, but we wanted to eat. So we headed out to sea and went looking for somewhere to eat. It’s eight in the evening, Black Sea embankment.... and there’s nowhere to eat!!!

Some beach eateries with food of dubious quality, and practically none at all. It's on the menu, but not in stock. The waiters, in other matters, we later realized that not only they, but in general all the locals around, look at you like a chicken that needs to be plucked without making much effort. But this is not the worst thing, after two days of our stay there a collapse occurred, our entire coast was cut off from power! At all! No light, no water, no air conditioning, NOTHING!!! Nothing for 8 thousand per day. My call was taken by the owners as a personal insult, and I was asked to move out. But where? I can’t imagine such a situation, even in Egypt or Turkey. There they will transport you to another hotel and apologize for the remaining time. But here they just told him to go to hell. Although in the neighboring huts, more efficient owners brought generators to the guests. And we carried water from the sea in buckets to the toilet. We spent two days without electricity, as if in a tent for the price of a good hotel.

Prices are a different matter. Both on the market and in stores the prices are outrageous. In general, the impression from Crimea is the most negative. They probably lost their desire to vacation there for a long time. First: delivery to the location. Until communication is established, there is nothing to do there. Secondly: the infrastructure of the peninsula. Internal roads, transport, shops, catering, etc. and so on. And thirdly, the most important thing in my opinion: attitude towards vacationers. Bye local residents They will look at vacationers as if they were their own wallet; for some strange reason, it will be of no use if it is in someone else’s pocket. It doesn’t matter to them whether you want to come to them again, it’s more important to just pluck you here and now. Conclusion: I had enough impressions for about five years. It’s up to you to decide for yourself, but if you need my advice, here it is: it’s better to go to Cyprus. Spend the same amount of money, the difference in impressions is striking

Another disadvantage is the railway tracks right next to the city beach, and a kilometer of stalls with goods along the embankment, blocking the view of the sea. It is very difficult to be objective when you love this city very much, when every summer you dream of coming to Feodosia, to a familiar beach, walking along your native streets and breathing in the fresh sea air. I feel very sorry for them and really want to help, to reach out to the authorities, but you give up at the moment when you realize that they themselves, the Feodosians, actually don’t need anything. It’s as if they are trying to solve their problems with someone else’s hands: “And you complain, write, shout: they say everywhere, complaining about their life.”
I am forced to come to Feodosia every year, elderly relatives live here, and every year I become afraid for the people who carelessly and thoughtlessly go to this small, dirty and smelly town, full of unsanitary conditions, indifference and aggression of the locals.
Why bring small children here if in the event of an unforeseen health situation you will definitely not receive normal help. The food in public catering establishments is very tolerable and not safe. The milk turns sour before it reaches the table, and the bread stinks of chemicals a day later. The sausages are not tasty, the cheeses are expensive, many fruits are not local, but are passed off as local and the price is fabulous, and dear old ladies sell homemade eggs for as much as 100 rubles.
The city is dirty, the river on Plyazhnaya has been cleaned up, there are no frogs, but there are hordes of rats swimming and scurrying about, how people aren’t afraid to walk there in the evenings, and I don’t even know if they’re with children, it’s creepy.
The beaches are free, but of course not without paid services. I am very outraged by the illogical policy of local entrepreneurs. They charge money for a sun lounger in the shade, but when the arrogant locals come and get it for free, they sit right down either on their chairs or on their rags next to you or almost on your head and calmly inform you that we are locals and do whatever we want, and give them comments are not done, this is a service. And at a loss. It’s hot, the sun loungers are empty, and the shade under the canopy is all packed, people are lying on top of each other. This is where people really don’t know how and don’t want to make money. There are no lifeguards.
It has become boring in the center, there is no abundance of roses, flowers, and those that exist are not watered, there are always crowds of already microchipped dogs, this did not solve the problem. Yes, by the way, the locals love animals more than people, many have crowds of stray dogs in their yard or next to their house, they feed them and don’t think about the consequences at all.
Well, and most importantly about housing. I will not write about hotels and mini-hotels, I will write about private owners, since my friends ended up in 3 this year different places specifically to them. Naturally, you need to understand that staying with the hosts or with the hosts is much cheaper - so, probably, you could end your story - IT IS THIS FACT THAT THE OWNERS THEN boast about in front of dissatisfied tourists. Be prepared that the first question they will ask you is, do you have children? They can’t stand children, they don’t need them, then, if you’re lucky and they do move you in with children, they’ll silence you and harass you with their comments and complaints. Another fact that infuriates them is your car, it is enemy number two after your children. You will hear something like, Feodosia is a small city, you came by car, there is not enough space, traffic jams, etc. The price is from 250 to 700 rubles, hence the service. It’s rare when there’s new linen and clean pillows; I saw a child’s pillow at a friend’s house and almost fell over, it’s a century old, no less. The floors are dirty, you need to wash them yourself, here is a rag and a bucket, do you really think that the housewife will bother to do the cleaning, for such and such little money, she will sweep here and there and that’s all. The toilet, bathtub and shower are your problems. Pray that there is always hot water, as well as a summer shower, you paid a little money, and when 10 days later you give these crumbs away, God grant that they at least smile at you.
Refrigerators, like pillows, are centuries old, dirty and smelly, not washed from year to year, mostly stand on the street, and if God forbid you cook yourself, get ready for the fact that very often you will throw your food in the trash because they flow. Well, if it’s raining, you’ll definitely be swimming in the yard with the sewer, since everyone’s drains are clogged, the storm drains are all clogged.
The city smells of sewage everywhere now; if previously it was the case with Gallery, Beach and the central beach, now it’s everywhere. The garbage containers are full everywhere, there is garbage everywhere, tourists will naturally say, but no, local comrades, I visited you in February and March, the picture is the same.
Public transport is a TROUBLE. Especially everyone’s favorite STANDARD 2 and 4, there is already a whole series on YouTube about these minibuses. “Mommy dear”, what’s going on, it’s terrible, well, I understand, let’s come in large numbers.....
If you want to get from the center to Koktebel or the Biostation by minibus, first go to church and pray for your health, because on this route there are “immortal kamikazes” who rush so that your whole life flies before your eyes.
Excursion trips are now a luxury, the price is so outrageous that you are amazed, but don’t expect that for your big money, believe me, you will get what you wanted or what you promised. YOU WILL BE DECEIVED IMMEDIATELY. And the first catch will be the gazelle that comes for you, yes, yes, you understood correctly g.a.z.e.l. well, or at best a Ford. Although, when you are going to pay for an excursion and ask the seller what kind of bus it will be, everyone has a standard answer, good and safe. Believe me, the guide and the excursion will not be interesting, many places will not be shown to you, citing the driver, who was only on his first day on the trip today and did not know that he needed to stop in one place or another. And most importantly, they will take you to this or that cafe or store where they will give you crazy discounts only for you)))))
And my favorite thing is TAXI DRIVERS. Oh, well done guys, where the lazy and arrogant people are. They only skate as far as their nose, one or two blocks is ALL. For a lot of money. You must at least kneel in front of them, offer a huge sum, smile, and this crowd of kings will decide whether to go or not. Disgusting, terrible.
I know one thing, Feodosia is dying from a very terrible disease, human indifference. She will get lost in the crowd of her brothers or sons of the cities and, it is unlikely, large crowds of cars will drive into the city I once loved. Drive by, I will tell all my friends, family and relatives. There is no rescue service, no evacuation service, no animal control service, no police service, no police, NO OWNER, in this ancient and once upon a time beautiful city, nobody here. DRIVE PAST…..

It’s another matter if you are restricted from traveling abroad and have nowhere else to go except to domestic resorts. Here is Feodosia, the first closest Crimean resort from Kerch. An ordinary seaside town, where there are some factories, factories and other industries, and a lot of housing offers. Prices usually decrease if you go further from the sea in search of housing. The vegetable market really surprised me with its cheapness, this is not Yalta, there is everything here and it’s very cheap. Cafes, embankment. museums, the Aivazovsky gallery, this is all usually on the holiday list of the average tourist. But knowing that Feodosia is more than two thousand years old, I want to touch its history and there is still something to see there. Fortress walls, mounds and other places are not as grandiose as in Turkey, but they are somehow more familiar and that’s their special taste visits.

A week of relaxation in the city itself is enough to swim, climb around the surrounding area, and be sure to visit the Green Museum and the Aivazovsky Gallery. Unfortunately, the sea in Augusta fills with algae and, as the locals say, begins to bloom. But very warm and affectionate. We swam on Golden Beach, public transport goes there, it’s somehow better there than on city beaches, wider, fewer people, but if the wind rises, then this sand is in your eyes and ears and nose, then you immediately remember pebble beaches of Sochi. If you don’t find fault with the fact that everything here still smells like the nineties, then it’s quite a passable vacation for reasonable money. It’s definitely worth coming here, at least for show. By the way, nearby is the village of Primorsky where we were before, but I’ll write about it next time.

Arriving in Feodosia, we checked into a regular hotel and went to wander around the city. The first thing that greeted us was an abundance of cafes and beautiful people, but when we reached the embankment we were stunned, tons of dirt along with water from the recent rain poured straight from the embankment into the sea, and we went to the nearest bar without swimming in the sea. This was the first reaction to the city of Feodosia.

But the next day everything worked out and we bought it. I would also like to mention the Aivazovsky Gallery, a takeaway pizzeria, and an abundance of bars and nightclubs. By the way, the prices in nightclubs are very unpleasant and too high.

I really liked how picturesque it was Railway(and an active one) runs right along the embankment; I liked the fast food chains and the abundance of self-service restaurants with delicious cuisine.

What I didn’t like was that during our stay in the city, we couldn’t find rum to make a mojito; we had to go around a lot of shops, but we never found it.

In general, Feodosia, apart from a couple of historical monuments, and the railway on the embankment, is not particularly memorable, so to speak, a city for one time.

Let's say you come to Feodosia for a couple of days. Well, or we decided to stop for a day along the way (for example, to Kerch and further to Russia). And you don’t want to pay 500 hryvnia for an overnight stay... I really don’t want to. You are also satisfied with the level of the hostel (toilet and shower in the corridor, the sea is a couple of stops away, you don’t need absolute silence). Then come here, to the rest room at Aivazovskaya station. By the way, if you came to Feodosia by bus, you won’t have to go anywhere. You just have to go around the church that is opposite the bus station and cross the road - and you are there. I'm spending the night in. 3x local number(with accommodation, which does not yet exist). For a day I paid 37 hryvnia (about 150 rubles) + 15 grams for a shower. The room is spacious, the beds are good. There is a wardrobe and a washbasin in the room. Toilet and shower in the hallway, shower stall and boiler. And all this is almost for nothing. Unlike the services of one campsite in Koktebel. The only drawback is that the building is located on a railway platform. And my room also has windows on the track, and sometimes steam locomotives pass by. Well, yes, you can survive one or two nights. If your nerves are not shaken, I recommend it. A decent solution for the price.

When my husband and I were once again deciding where to go, we pointed our finger at the trains)) Feodosia fell out. We vacationed with our 4-year-old daughter. Pros: quite affordable, very pleasant central streets, the presence of monuments and museums in the city itself (A. Green, Aivazovsky, temples of various religious denominations), a market with affordable prices for seasonal fruits and vegetables, the opportunity to independently go to many excursion places - there are regular buses, the prices of which are several times lower than excursion prices (this is how we went to the dolphinarium). Koktebel is relatively close (you can go for cognac or to the house of writers, whichever is closer)))

Among the disadvantages: dirt, you turn a little to the side, eternal dogs, a port next to the beach and a railway. And the beach itself is very narrow. When we were there, a “golden” shell beach was being built outside the city. We got there by minibus, but then there was no There's nothing there except the beach itself.

In my opinion, you need to go on vacation to Crimea first in order to enjoy it unique nature. On the southern coast of Crimea, in cities such as Yalta, Alushta, Alupka, Sudak, you can really see amazing plants, the pristine nature of the mountains and coastline with crystal clear sea water of a unique color. Unfortunately, this cannot be said about Feodosia. There is a railway track running through Feodosia, almost along the beach)) That is, to get to the beach you need to overcome the railway tracks.

The embankment of Feodosia is large, tiled, the city beach is pebbly and very narrow, it’s not very good to swim or sunbathe here. But if you live nearby, you can go here too.

There are also several interesting objects on the embankment. Monument to Aivazovsky and its gallery, panel Scarlet Sails, a beautiful fountain near the embankment, a gallery of temporary exhibitions a little further away.

There are also interesting cafes here. I used to like the cafe Canteen at home, but now it’s not so much anymore, their dishes have deteriorated and the prices have gone up, everything has become too expensive)) But you can eat, especially since the canteen is located in the premises of a former cool restaurant.

If you go to the dachas (former dachas of various rich people from the Russian Empire), you will find a cool shop with pasties at the intersection.

The boy or his dad makes them, the pasties are so delicious that you can eat three of them at once, the dough is amazing. I always eat them with cheese and they are the most delicious pasties I have ever seen.

The Genoese fortress, which once encircled the entire city, is now represented only by a couple of towers and ruins, you can also see them.

The money museum is also an interesting object. So many coins, they walked for two hours and then I looked at everything in a shady way.

Of the beaches, this golden beach (coastal) is the coolest. Wide beach, red sand, shower, toilet, everything is done.

There are also many wild beaches with stones, for example, before reaching Ordzhonikidze, there are few people there, and there are even nudists.

I like Feodosia because there are no locals here who want to take something from you) For example, this is what happens in Simeiz)))

There are a lot of people who live here permanently and it makes me happy, I don’t like it resort towns. Here you are just walking down the street, just enjoying life. An ordinary town. Plus the sea. What could be better?

I was in Crimea back in 2012, when it was part of Ukraine, so I think that now things have become even more civilized there. The city can be easily reached by bus from nearby cities. Feodosia itself is calm and perfect for families with children; the city has several beaches. There are no problems with housing, there are hotels, there are many residents who rent out rooms and houses. Personally, my friend and I rented a room in a house near the bus station, the price was absolutely reasonable and it was convenient to get to the beach, during the day you can go on excursions to significant places in Feodosia, it’s easy Thanks to the guides who stand near the bus station, you can sign up for an excursion in advance; I recommend visiting Ai-Petri.

There are many cafes on the beach where you can sit during the day and dance to a special show program in the evening.

In the center there is an amusement park with a variety of attractions from young to old. We especially liked the high-rise building, where you rise slowly up and drop sharply down, it’s breathtaking and you can see the whole city from above in full view.

I was in Feodosia last year, so the memories are still quite fresh) I arrived there in mid-July, in high season, but finding a room was not difficult. As soon as you get off the bus or train, a crowd of tourist-thirsty hosts swoops in on you, as well as in all resort towns) Accommodation is not very expensive, but not cheap either, be prepared)) And in general, I advise you to take more money - it’s a resort, after all, there are temptations everywhere) First of all, we went to the beach. The beach in Feodosia is free and clean , really crowded. Interesting feature Feodosia has a railway that literally runs along the embankment) But you quickly get used to it)

How to visit Feodosia and not go to the Aivazovsky Museum? That’s right, no way))) The museum made a huge impression - it’s gorgeous! The paintings are simply amazing with their beauty and scale. I was surprised by Aivazosky’s talent! He was truly Talented, that’s right, with a capital T)

And now the promised advice: there is a castle outside the city - go there!) When I started earning money on my own cash for my existence (at the age of 15), then I accordingly had a great desire to relax after the hard work of everyday life. Visit Black Sea coast I somehow never wanted Russia, but the Black Sea coast of Ukraine was always drawn to me, maybe the deep roots are making themselves felt.

Since it is direct flight Moscow - Feodosia, transfers during the first few days scared me a lot. That's why I went there on my first trip. The city is located on the very shore of the Black Sea. Quite clean, although some renovation could be done to its buildings. True, during the season at sea there is absolutely no place to lie down and pamper your bones. We had to go to the nearest village of Primorsky to swim and sunbathe.

Night walks around the city are surprisingly romantic, the main thing is not to get lost. I advise everyone to visit the Golden Fleece restaurant, simply very excellent cuisine and very affordable prices. During the day, in the midday heat (or in the twilight of the night), you can take a boat trip, visit museums, of which there are a huge number and all of them are located not far from the sea. It would take a long time to describe this wonderful city, so I advise everyone to just visit it and relax, and better yet, “savages” and economically and have a lot of impressions.

I vacationed with my family in Feodosia this summer. A pleasant resort town with everything you need. At first we settled in a cottage near the sea, but after living there for several days we realized that we didn’t have enough money to live there for another 2 weeks. We bought a local newspaper ad and started looking for other, more affordable housing. We found a 2-room apartment near the city center at a very reasonable price (1.5 times cheaper than the original option). Although it was a bit far from the sea, this did not frighten us, since we were in a car. So if you want to find inexpensive housing, then you shouldn’t look for it near the sea, drive deep into the city, there are a lot of good options.

The central beach is usually very crowded, sometimes it was impossible to find a normal place. I decided to drive a little further east and look for more secluded beaches. We found a beautiful bay where there was no one, and we rested there for the last week. This is very a nice place, it will especially appeal to lovers of solitude and tranquility.

Another little tip - choose housing in buildings where there are no cafes or restaurants on the ground floors. In the city center, almost all the first floors of houses were occupied by a variety of cafes, open until the morning. I don’t even know how people sleep there at night, music plays constantly. If you have small children, then you should look for housing away from all this resort bustle.

The city is simply wonderful, I have loved it since childhood. Firstly, it is very convenient because you can get here either by bus (there is a bus station) or by train, even by plane (the airport is 120 km away), especially by car (there are no traffic jams in the city even in summer).

Secondly, the city will delight lovers of both sea holidays, there are both sea ​​cruises, as well as diving, windsurfing, etc., as well as lovers of mountains and hiking, even for amateurs extreme recreation there will be something to do here (10 km away there is the well-known Mount Klementyeva) where you can paraglid, hot-air balloon, airplane and even if you want to jump with a parachute. Good afternoon Today I want to talk about our vacation in the city of Feodosia. This was my first trip to the sea. Everything was as usual, we bought tickets and on the appointed day took our seats on the bus. We drove for about a day. Along the way, we made several stops, mostly at planned places.

We went in August, it was terribly hot, the air conditioning did not work. We drove about 2000 thousand kilometers. We crossed five regions: Kaluga, Tula, Oryol, Kursk and Belgorod. All this time we had a very friendly and pleasant female guide with us.

By the way, we arrived at the border at night; we really wanted to sleep. Instead, you had to get off the bus, grab your luggage and go to customs.

When we got to our stop, almost immediately the son of the hotel owner came to pick us up, loaded our luggage and we were off. There were four of us, my husband sat in the front seat, and I and two other tourists sat in the back. It was very crowded, it was good that it was not far to go.

We stayed at the Maria Hotel. Our room was on the third, very last floor. On the first day we were badly burned. The small window at the top of the room did not provide enough fresh air, so we used the air conditioner. On the second day of our vacation, we got sick and went to the pharmacy. True, we recovered quickly, probably it was an adaptation to the new climate. The room had a large bed, an armchair, a refrigerator, a TV and a table, as well as a shower and toilet.

Since we lived on the top floor, and the kitchen was on the first floor, it was inconvenient to run back and forth with pots. The sea was a 5 minute walk away. There was a lot of entertainment, but most of all we liked one cafe, and we often spent evenings there. It was also possible to visit a water park, excursions, and sail on a steamboat.
