Presentation on a trip to Japan. Project work on the theme: "Japan

Oh sacred delight!
  On green, on young foliage
  Sunlight is pouring.
  Matsuo Basho

We want to tell you about one interesting idea. She was born to children and teachers in the "Pink Tower", a club for children from three to seven years.

We live with children very friendly and fun. Firstly, we are engaged in very serious matters: mathematics, speech development, English, acting, dancing. Our children are very capable and grateful students, it is a pleasure to communicate with them! Secondly, we can have a wonderful rest - funny breaks, holidays, competitions, birthdays. All activities are organized taking into account the characteristics of age development and program requirements. Everything is correct and good. And I wanted more. I wanted not only a correct, but also an interesting, especially interesting, life. For something to be in full swing, to gush, to make the time spent with friends unique, so that children learn to find the unusual in the ordinary and make the world around them interesting and attractive to themselves. And then this something appeared - projects have entered our lives.

What is a project? So we called the long-term, diverse in content, collective creative work that permeates all areas of our lives, runs a red thread through any occupation. We do not plan anything in advance. We will organize everything during the project: we study, assemble, do, and then generalize. Even the topic appears completely unexpectedly - something from what we read or saw caught our attention, and we say to ourselves: “And let's find out about it!” First, we simply study the encyclopedias on the chosen topic, exchange impressions, but gradually the knowledge gained is brought into our everyday life, changing it. New activities are born. And the child’s not silent: “Let's do it this way: let's draw like this artist: let's compose the poems ourselves: let's turn into: or we can make a house like that:” By the end of the project, each child has a sea of \u200b\u200bimpressions, new knowledge, joint skills activities, creative work. The project ends with a theatrical performance - we invite parents to take a trip to a country or a certain era.

The theme of our latest project is "Japan - the Land of the Rising Sun". We read the Japanese fairy tale about the brave-faced little boy "Brave Issimbosi", and we wanted to know what kind of people these are - the Japanese. We learned for two and a half months. Everything was interesting to our children - where the Japanese live, how they dress, what they eat, how they raise children. Of course, they “tried on” the way of life of this Eastern people on themselves: a lot of children liked it - they wanted to adopt it, they laughed heartily at some moments, categorically refused something. At the lessons of speech development, the main questions were fixed on separate leaflets. So, we wrote the name of the country and the capital, symbols of the seasons and other information, drew a map of Japan, coat of arms, flag. A special delight was caused by the image of three monkeys symbolizing the Buddhist way of life: "I see nothing bad, I can not hear, I do not say." The result was a whole album - a kind of report on the seriously done work. Children made their notes in block letters. Even without being able to read, they easily copied from the board. But what’s interesting - during this project, a lot of "typing", some guys "read". It was just great! In mathematics, we learned to count in Japanese up to ten, draw numbers, even tried to add and subtract.

Children liked to learn Japanese very much - words of greeting and goodbye, elementary requests, names of vehicles, food. At the final event, the children played whole scenes in Japanese. And our parents began to greet only in Japanese - so infectious the children did.

In addition, at the lessons of art, we made the following crafts.

1) Self portrait.   Children painted a portrait of the first shogun Minamoto-no Yoritomo. And somehow it happened that every child shogun turned out to be like a little artist who painted him. Therefore, we signed the portraits with the names of children in the Japanese way: “Emperor Antonuko”, or “Emperor Ivanoro”, or “Japanese Princess Elizako”, etc.

2) Rock garden.   Box with sand, stones, wooden rake.

3) Sakura branch.   Watercolor.

4) Issimbosi. Plasticine boy, a boat made of walnut shells. I really liked the children playing with this little plasticine hero.

5) Japanese characters. Gouache. Charcoal pencils.

Scenario of the final event.

1. To the music of "Sakura - Melodies of Japan" (very beautiful music played on a bamboo flute), the curtain opens. Children in a kimono with candles, lanterns, fans, umbrellas.

2. The figures "come to life" in turn in pairs, dance and again "freeze".

Dance with candles. Get up, go forward, stop. Raise candles

alternately up with the right and left hand, also down. Smooth torso to the left and right. Draw circles in front of them vertically. Turn around you. Come back.

Dance with flashlights. Go forward, while going backwards with candles. Smooth movements left and right in front of you. Smooth up and down movements in front of you. They turn to each other, cross lanterns, circle. Come back.

Dance with umbrellas. Go forward, while going back with flashlights. Smooth movements left and right. Spin around. Umbrellas are lowered in front of them, rotate them, come back.

Dance with fans. Go forward, while going back with umbrellas. Change the fan in the face - left, right hand. One sat down, the other stood behind her. Fans, like wings, wave up and down. Come back .

Japanese tale

To the music for the Kabuki theater, artists go on stage.

Once upon a time on Shikoku Island
   Emperor Maksimoku lived!
   And his daughter, beautiful Delilah,
Sakura and lily cannot be compared with her!

Hokku reader.

Oh rose petals!
   You are so gentle!
Faded. Do not envy the princess!

And we stand here on the side,
   We read you exquisite hokku!

Japanese traditional taiko drums sound.

Akuryo - the evil spirit - flew in,
Calling for the help of the goblin - Tengu.
   Stole the princess!
Akuryo grabbed the princess and carried her to the cave.

The emperor.

Oh my Dalilia!
   Oh lily!
I do not hear your aroma!

Hokku reader.

Sadness You know,
   What is joy!
   You are so close!
   Like two sisters!

We are samurai!
   There are no brave warriors!
   Oh lord Maksimoku!
   We give the word samurai!
   Save Dahlia!

Hokku reader.

The night is black!
But the bright way for those
   Who seeks truth and beauty!

Dance of the samurai going on a campaign for the princess.

I am the evil Akuryo!
   Fear Samurai!

Do not be afraid! Never!

Although you are evil, I am good!
   Wizards we both!

Hokku reader.

One who has not known sorrow
Will not be able to see the joy!

12. Celebratory fireworks.

13. Presentation of gifts.

The doorbell rang. The postman brought a parcel from Japanese children. How glad our children were to receive news from Japan itself!

(There is a Japanese supermarket in Moscow. Gifts were bought there: beads, cars, cookies and sweets, beautiful cardboard boxes that the Japanese use for breakfast. Magnets with Japanese landscapes, notepads and pencils were purchased at the State Museum of the East.)

Like this. Travel to Japan turned out to be unique. And the project "Japan - the Land of the Rising Sun" itself gave us many unforgettable happy moments.

On the topic: methodological developments, presentations and summaries

Synopsis of directly educational activities "Traveling in Japan" and presentation.

Recently I got acquainted with the draft Program of Multicultural Education for 3-7 Years Children "Dialogue of Cultures". I created presentations, developed a number of abstracts of directly educational activities ...

Presentation for a musical and educational lesson in the middle group "Travel to Japan. In the wake of the nesting dolls." in pdf format

Tasks: 1. The formation of a holistic picture of the world, broadening the horizons 2. To develop interest in history ...

To go on a trip you don’t always need to have a plane ticket, you don’t even need to go anywhere, you just need to take a card and .... Yesterday I shared how Ellina and I made a wall newspaper about Japan. There was so much information gathered that I decided: it was time to embark on geographical travels with the boys. And so we turned the map around and found the Japanese islands ....

We list the names and look at them on the map: Hokkaido, Honshu, Shikoku, Kyushu ... Please note that they are in Asia, in the east. We will talk about this later, now we just notice.

We lay out the islands that I cut out of the foam tray (they look a little like the real ones, I didn’t have enough material and the space to arrange them properly, however, the essence and approximate dimensions). We say that there are more than 3000 islands in Japan and some of them are completely uninhabited.

What is an island? We reflect and come to the conclusion that this is land surrounded by water from all sides. And if so, then we send our islands to the ocean.

And let's put the inhabitants on our islands, just look so that they do not fall!
And then the balancing game begins. You need to carefully install toys on the islands.

And then our residents went diving))), which is not surprising.

After bathing toys, we proceed to the extraction of food. It turns out that in Japan they eat a lot of fish, because there is so much water around. But there are much fewer animals.

After each game, a mini-cleaning. It’s convenient for me not to rake mountains of materials and toys later on, it’s sometimes necessary, as in the case of spilled water, it’s useful for children - play - take it away. In general, in Japan they attach great importance to order.

Let's build Japan now. After all, this country is not only water. There are a lot of mountains on land. Japan, in principle, is covered in mountains ....

And there are a lot of volcanoes - "living" - active and sleeping - and extinct. In extinct lakes are often formed.

And plants in Japan are many of the most diverse - from conifers in the north to palm trees in the south. And they grow right on the slopes of the mountains.

And, of course, different animals live there, from northern ones (for example, walruses) to tropical ones. A lot of bamboo grows there (sorry, I didn’t think in advance, there was no suitable material for it) and there are panda bears.

And now our Japan is populated. The time has come for natural disasters. Volcanic eruptions often occur here.

A familiar experience with tinted soda and vinegar, but so loved by children.

By the way, largely due to natural disasters in Japan, architecture is very developed. In principle, there are a lot of architects - 2.5 per 1000 inhabitants. And they always compete in originality. But this is not the main thing, houses should be built seismically stable so that buildings are not damaged during earthquakes. And so we transform into architects and builders, we begin to build a Japanese city.

The largest city in this country is the capital of Tokyo. There is such a population density that you need to build skyscrapers. True, we did not set up special skyscrapers, but with stability we have complete order.

And now the city is ready.

Did you know that in Japan there are no street names. The houses are only numbered within the quarter, and corresponding to the time of construction. We believe that Rodion built house No. 1, and then No. 2 turned out to be in a completely different place, No. 3 - Ellinkin, No. 4 again to Rodion, but in a completely different direction .... And it so happened that everything got confused. But how to find the right house? And I'm starting to describe - the smallest house, the largest, tallest house in the second row from Rodion, the house with a double roof, the nearest house to Ellina on the right, the house farthest from Arthur on the left, the four-story tower next to the seven-story building .... And so Further.

Children try to navigate, at first not very successfully, but the farther, the better, at the end each house was described as a move).

And now we will check our houses for stability during earthquakes .... Galloping from the heart. The houses swayed, but did not collapse. It is a pity that they did not build a high tower, it would certainly have flown, but the children were pleased that the architects were good).

Now we draw the flag of our Japan. A very simple flag, and the children already know it.

What does he mean? It turns out that the red circle is the sun. Japan is located east of all Eurasia, namely, the sun rises in the east, so the country is called the Land of the Rising Sun. I wanted to find the east by compass, but the device was lost, but the children already know exactly where the sun rises and we easily determined the direction in which Japan is located.
And we, as expected, fixed the flags on sticks. Children were happy with such plain toys). By the way, Arthur said that he would draw the coat of arms of Japan on the flag. But I did not take care to find out about him. But for the child there are no barriers: "I will think of it myself!" And painted skyscrapers and cars).

In Japan there is an important ritual - bowing. They are intended not only for greeting, but also for farewell, thanks and other occasions. The nods differ in the depth of the slopes, in the sharpness and smoothness of movements, in the participation in the bow of the head, of the whole body .... In general, the whole language of the nods. We did not teach him, but played a game - repeat the bow. Ellinka showed obeisances, and the boys tried to reproduce them. Very funny.

It's time to have lunch. One of the national dishes is sushi. And we try to cook them, but not real, because no one will even touch them), but make-believe). The children rolled out the dough for modeling.

Sprinkled with rice.

All sorts of pieces of fish were added in the form of colored pasta and coffee beans. And then turned off.

Thank you for the idea Masha Kostyuchenko blog Learning Playing. She has a lot of ideas on geography with children. Here we have such sushi.

And they eat in Japan with chopsticks. We do not have sticks, but we need to practice, so the children armed themselves with tweezers.

They had to sort the pebbles and shells. And especially did not mix anything). Children during the creation of the worlds mixed “precious” stones, gravel and colored soil, adding shells to the pile. And so I got it all and gave the task to select shells, gravel and "precious" stones. It is amazing how enthusiastic the boys were in this business.

Until everyone has chosen, they have not stopped))).

The national costume of the Japanese is kimono. Moreover, this is not just a tribute to tradition, but a very real outfit worn in everyday life, worn for special rituals and holidays. Kimonos are different - color, details, belts, sleeve widths, some are so difficult to wear that only specially trained people can do this, this is their profession. Although I dressed up the children, I didn’t go through training), and we have a kimono from the tablecloth, and the belt is short. Nevertheless, we tried on the image of a Japanese.

The men's belt is already tied in front. The female is wider and is tied behind the bow.

In Japan, they know how to admire the beauty of nature. There are special traditions of admiring, for example, blooming plums and sakura. About the time of flowering, places, the number of flowering trees, even broadcast on TV. But besides sakura, the Japanese also admire other flowers, tulips, sunflowers and other things. We also decided to admire, but we will not transmit information about flowering places, we need to find these places. Who is bigger? And the children went looking for an apartment, who will find more cards with flowers?

This time Rodion did the best!

The country of the rising sun is known for its martial arts. Many types of arts used originate from samurai (judo), some are used for self-defense (aikido). But there is also a purely sporty look - sumo wrestling. Wrestlers are highly respected people in Japanese society. Their weight is an achievement that every fighter strives for, there are special diets, mainly on rice for weight gain. It used to be that during sumo fights the earth shakes and evil spirits are expelled, and the land becomes fertile. There are no weight categories, so a wrestler with more weight and more chances to win. And the task in the battle is to push the enemy out of the ring or make him touch the ground with any part of the body except the feet.
So, we begin we begin our sumo fight.

Ellinka participated with no less pleasure than the boys, and not every time she managed to win.

Rodion won in some fights.

Fairly peaceful competitions that the boys really liked.
After such entertainment, it was time to calm down and balance. And for this, the tea ceremony is very suitable. First, the owner meets the guests, as it should with bows.

All sit around the table ....

Tea is prepared right in front of the guests by the owner. But we did not limit ourselves, everyone prepared tea))). We don’t have a mortar and pestles, so we ground the tea with a spoon. In general, of course, everything was done symbolically, our tea ceremony is far from real.

And then they began to rub with fingers - a very meditative lesson, I tell you).

Then the tea is brewed. But nobody except Eli wants to taste tea in our country, so I just poured the juice into a bowl remotely resembling a cup.

And the children took turns drinking from the cup, passing it to each other.

Do not forget to wipe with a napkin.

Another important point of the ceremony is silence. Everything passes in silence, without talking. A calm conversation begins later, after the main drink, when tea is brewed separately for everyone. But we just omitted it. But it was very good to be silent! The children got accustomed to the role, watched each other with such attention, were imbued, in general, and calmed down for one.

One of the popular and famous arts that came from Japan is origami. My children and I decided to lay down a bird. Origami crane is a symbol of happiness, but this scheme is difficult for kids, so our symbol of happiness is simpler. We fold the square leaf diagonally in half into a triangle.

Then again into the triangle ....

Bend the wings by two-thirds.

And lower the beak down.

And we also decided to put together the fans that came to Japan from China, but had long and firmly rooted in this culture.

And then we organized a competition of masters of fan art). It was necessary to blow a piece of cotton wool off the table - who is faster? Stubbornly in this type of competition Rodion was the leader).

In Japanese literature there is a very interesting style - hoku (haiku) - a three-passage of 17 syllables, in which there is an indication of the time of year what is happening. To get acquainted with this type of creativity, I took nursery rhymes from this site. They are interesting in that 90% are a mystery in themselves. What season are we talking about? That is what the children guessed while I was reading poetry.
Well, and how not to try to compose yourself? I did not limit children to 17 syllables. Therefore, Ellina's work is a little shorter, and Arthur's is slightly longer.
  Hoku from Eli:
Running in the snow
Dog.
Winter evening.
  And a poem from Arthur:
The first worms crawled out
The first flowers got out.
The sun is high, high.
We recently celebrated the New Year. In Japan, this holiday is celebrated at dawn. And rake dress up! The Japanese attach great importance to this subject. It is believed that welfare and other joys are raked in a rake. And we also decided to decorate the rake.

Wound, tied up))).

And the rake is a very important attribute of the Japanese rock garden. Making such a garden near the house is very important, and also making a mini-garden in a special sandbox. We also designed our garden. Pebbles arranged, laid out ....

And then they drew lines with rakes, the sand was leveled. True, the sand is large, then the stripes from such small rake were not particularly visible, but still nice and interesting.

To appreciate the country is to get acquainted with its language. It is interesting to know how some words are pronounced and spelled. For example, we were pleased to get acquainted with the names of family members. I chose the pictures from the search engine, did not save the source. If there is a host (s), I will be glad to leave a link to their sites.

And mom in Japanese (one of the options) - HAHA! I really liked the kids). Learned other words, for example, hello, thank you. There are a lot of the latter, for example, there is a special one before meals and a separate one for “after meals”). You can familiarize yourself with different phrases. I really liked to say 愛 し て る よ (Aisiter ё!) - I love you. Used all four options and repeated for a long time.

And on this plate they played like this: I pointed to a part of the body and called in Japanese. Children also showed, called in Russian, and then repeated after me in Japanese.

If you go deeper, then you can repeat it this way: just call the word in Japanese, and the children should show it correctly.

To feel the charm and complexity of the Japanese language, it’s worth writing a few words. I prepared a large recipe for the kids. True, Rodioshka refused to write, but Arthur was happy to circle both his task and his brother.

We wrote the hieroglyph “mother” - it is in duplicate on a leaf on the left and it is on the right. Frankly, for 100% correct spelling, I can not vouch. Small ones are written so incomprehensibly that it is difficult to make out, and those large ones that I met were written with a thick brush.
And they wrote the word "hello." Bottom on the left leaf. Again, there may be problems with fidelity. But it was very interesting to me and Arthur.

In Japanese, the cat is neko. And cats in Japan are very fond of, even a cat cafe they meet. Cats live in such places, and guests who come here can, during a meal, enjoy chatting with furry beauties and beauties. Of course, they pet them, scratch their ears and other amenities, from which both pets and guests purr). We decided to play such a cafe. Some were visitors, others cats. At first, the boys pretended to be neko, and Ellinka and I patted them. Then Ale and Rodion were cats, and Arthur and I were visitors.

The game was very fun and enjoyable, only there are no good photos))).

Interestingly, the Japanese prefer not to use the word "no", instead they prefer to leave the topic or give an indefinite answer. We decided to practice such a speech art. I asked questions that I expected to hear "no," and the children dodged so that they would not say no. In this connection, Ellinka pleased me with the possible absenteeism of the school))). And when I assumed that she would bring deuces, I first heard: “Mom, I am a good student,” and then “They don’t put a pair on us.” To the question: “Do you probably want to eat?”, Arthur replied: “Yes, but not now!” There were other questions, unfortunately, I don’t remember them now.
The end of our trip to Japan was Ellinkina ikebana. This was not very interesting for the boys, but the daughter gladly composed the composition. It’s a pity we have neither fresh flowers nor dried flowers, I had to use artificial ones.

Here Ikebana now decorates the window in our room.

Here's an unusual and very exciting adventure we have happened.
I'll tell you about him in Children gallery

STATE SYMBOLS

Coat of Arms

The national Japanese flag is white with a red circle - the Sun in the middle. The colors of the flag reflect the ethics of Shintoism, based on concepts such as cleanliness, justice and beautification. White background means purity and integrity, red circle means warmth, brightness and sincerity. The red circle on the white field (“Hinomaru”, ie “solar flag”) is a rather old symbol of Japan.

Round chrysanthemum is the national flower of Japan.

In fact, Japan does not have a national emblem, as such the emblem of the imperial family is often used -

Akihito yellow chrysanthemum consisting of 16 double petals, which symbolizes the sun. The emblem has a magical meaning.

NATIONAL CLOTHES.

Kimono - literally "the thing that they put on."

The Japanese woman doesn’t sew a kimono, she designs it, folding it from pieces of fabric cut in the form of rectangular figures ..

One and the same kimono fits women tall and petite, thin and full, but this means that it is easier to “design” a kimono than to sew a European dress.

Japanese women have been studying the art of sewing fancy kimonos for 10 years. The “simplest" kimonos can begin to be constructed after 2 years of study

The main requirement for a beautiful Japanese woman is long straight

hair. Hairstyles are complex, with several

elements - high rollers and bunches.

In festive occasions, hair was decorated with

gold plaits of flowers and hairpins that

lay crosswise and had small

fans at the ends, and noble ladies sprinkled them

purple powder. It was a hallmark

a geisha, an educated and intelligent woman, perfectly

proficient in charm .

Japan women .

A treatise on the behavior of women in the family, written in the 16th century:

  • A woman should look after her husband, raise children, cook food, sew clothes for her husband and children.
  • Care for the father-in-law and mother-in-law, feed them, sew clothes.
  • The wife should get up before everyone else in the house and go to bed later than everyone else.

The Japanese house is first of all a roof resting on a frame of wooden rafters and supports;

it is a roof erected over a void. There are no windows or doors in our understanding, for in

in each room, three of the four walls can be moved apart at any time, and you can completely remove it.

It’s not enough, however, to say that the walls of a Japanese house can open, turning it into a kind of arbor

Japanese house.

There are no sofas, no armchairs, no chairs, no tables, no cupboards with dishes, no wardrobes with clothes, no bookshelves, not even beds.

You see only the bare tree of the supporting pillars and rafters, the ceiling of the planed boards.

Under a swollen leg they spring slightly tatami, fingers in three thick mats from quilted straw mats. The floor, made up of golden rectangles, is completely empty.

On winter days in a Japanese house, you truly realize the significance of the Japanese bath - furo:

this is the main type of self-heating.
